Art Bell had many followers hoping and believing he would return to radio…and then he said this: ‘I was thinking of doing this for the wrong reason. I was angry with Premiere, I still am, but that is the wrong reason to launch a radio program.’

So with one Facebook message so many who were waiting for Art Bell’s return suddenly have the rug pulled out from under him…

“Ok friends, here is a honest update. For NOW I have turned down a offer for the following reason. I was thinking of doing this for the wrong reason, I was angry with Premiere, I still am, but that is the wrong reason to launch a radio program. As I said when I last left, “never say never”. For now I will just say not yet.”

So this is how it ends? Not with a bang but a whimper? Not with a show, but the how air of George Noory blowing from the smoggy Premiere networks of Los Angeles? Hope was rising across the net of a (and another) return of Art Bell. Now dashed by his own ‘honest update’ on Facebook..Never say never? Some are asking on message board if they’ve been led down a false path.. one person on CoastGab wrote that he or she doubted there was ever negotiations for a radio show to begin with!

A private message to the HORROR REPORT on Twitter said that Art Bell just craves attention and that is the only reason he dangled the carrot of a new show in front of loyal fans.. But how long will fans stay loyal as they continue leaping high for the fruit they cannot reach?

George Snorry is far from Art bell.
Art was the best and will always be!!!!!!
Not blasting George, but George would dump the show to do politics in a NY minute if he could even get 70% of the pay he gets now.
Arts style and humor was awsome and his background music some call lame or out of date was BEYOND AWSOME.
There was a tad more humor and BS but thats what made it great!!!
Yet it was real in many aspects!
As for george making it better?
No,,it has not.
Many affilates kapoot the show after Art left.
Sure they added some bogus numbers but a far cry,,,Art made the show like you were there with him and a friend.
I remember Norry saying he’d run for president if his following called on him which was enuff for me…

Exactly the reason so many people listen to The FINE ART STREAM..

People may not have to anymore if he really returns to radio..

New Secretary of State John Kerry has a plan: When he writes a Tweet on the State Department Twitter page, he will write “JK”.. Really, this is the official plan.

It will be nice to know when Kerry himself is writing to the masses, and it may seem simple just to use his initials. It makes sense.. until you realize that, in the Internet and Twitterverse, ‘JK’ means just kidding. I assume the State Department will not be just kidding much, but some who don’t know who John Kerry is may think they are.. I would hope there are no international incidents.. Imagine this future possible Tweet: “The US mourns for your nation during this time, JK” …. Yikes.

What about SK for Secretary Kerry? What about just … “KER” ??
I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the meeting that came up with this. But if I was a fly I guess I’d be swirling around President Obama’s face.

COULD IT BE? THE SUPERDOME ‘CURSE’?

The oddity surrounding the big power outage at the Super Bowl last night could not get any weirder.. An email that the Horror Report received last night from a reader joked that Beyoncé’s singing was enough to cause a power outage.. But now today in a strange twist of fate that is what some are actually blaming the power outage on!!
The story goes like this: Beyoncé was rehearsing during the week and when she did two power surges occurred in the Superdome just like the one that happened during the live game last night..

Some blamed a UFO! others that it was a curse from the cemetery that the Superdome is going on top of but this more normal everyday explanation may be the weirdest of all..

Just think about it, Beyoncé went from singing at the inauguration to lip-synching and now really singing at the Super Bowl to causing a power failure, at least according to some would think it was her..

We don’t have any official statement from Beyoncé yet whether in person or lip-synched. I am guessing that we will, or someone else to tell us exactly why the lights went out in New Orleans during the highest rated Superbowl of all time…

3:55 pm update: The NFL said it was not Beyonce that did it ..

Coast to Coast is no longer being carried in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Market. It was replaced by John Bachelor? I think is his name. George is better, of course Art Bell is the best of all.

This is interesting news that I was not aware of. And it is just one more big affiliate that has dropped George Noory..

An FYI in John Batchelor... He is a conservative radio talk show host who frequently has on guests of a very political nature, something that in the old days of Art Bell didn’t really happen..

A return of Bell could shake up the radio landscape, we will see what happens when the dust settles..

The night the lights went out at the Super Bowl

I just received an email from someone who swears that during the Super Bowl, when the power outage was taking place, he saw a UFO flying over the stadium during television coverage..

I appreciate my readers when they get involved and send me things like this, however I did not see this for myself and I’m only writing on it on here because, and I guarantee you, within the next few hours many websites will pick this up.. I’m hoping if they do pick it up they will actually show an image or video of this supposedly UFO..

I guess we can label this a developing story, or just a developing rumor that will go nowhere..

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Power went out at the Superdome early in the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday with the Baltimore Ravens leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6.
The majority of lights failed shortly after Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown. There was 13:22 left in the quarter.
