Google is going to check your facts from. Sensitive people to rate. The future is now.

Raters now have access to a new “Upsetting-Offensive” flag which Google says should be used in the following instances:

    • Content that promotes hate or violence against a group of people based on criteria including (but not limited to) race or ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or citizenship, disability, age, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
    • Content with racial slurs or extremely offensive terminology.
    • Graphic violence, including animal cruelty or child abuse.
    • Explicit how to information about harmful activities (e.g., how tos on human trafficking or violent assault).
    • Other types of content which users in your locale would find extremely upsetting or offensive.

    And there is more:

Just being upsetting isn’t enough for raters to flag search results. Google points to an example regarding a “Holocaust history” search: one result is a Holocaust denial site, which the company says deserves the flag. The other, a website from The History Channel, might be upsetting due to subject matter but is a “factually accurate source of historical information” and doesn’t promote the hateful content mentioned above.

Forgive me for being insensitive or potentially offensive, but I miss the wild west of the net.. when things were free and fierce, uncensored and raw..

The content police may take things too far.

  • 2018 IS THE YEAR OF SUPER HERO RELEASES

2018 IS THE YEAR OF SUPER HERO RELEASES

quaman will be swimming into theaters a little later than originally planned.

The DC/Warner Bros. film is moving from Oct. 5, 2018 to the middle of holiday season, Dec. 21, 2018. It will open in 3D.

Aquaman is moving into a slot that is currently still occupied by an untitled Fox film from James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment that was presumably being held for Avatar 2, however that film has not yet been given an official release date. Last week, Cameron said Avatar 2 would no longer be released in 2018 as expected.

You really should see KONG SKULL ISLAND if you haven’t already

For those who haven’t yet seen KONG SKULL ISLAND, see it..

It could be the best movie of this type (monsters bashing each other and humans being caught in the crosshairs) since JURASSIC WORLD..

Mostly kid-friendly. I worry about those things now that I have a son. He noted that the “big” curse was in it once, and that there were lots of ‘poops but just the other word’ being uttered.

Despite the number of violent deaths, it’s relatively gore free..

    And it’s just cool.

    Really cool.

I really wish it would have come out in the summer instead of the dead of winter–this is the type of film that summers are made for..

Exorcist fails to drive out ‘evil spirits,’ forcing Brazilian president to leave ‘haunted’ presidential palace

Exorcist fails to drive out ‘evil spirits,’ forcing Brazilian president to leave ‘haunted’ presidential palace:

According to Premier, the president even asked a priest to perform exorcism rites on the palace to drive out the “evil spirits,” but the unnamed exorcist apparently failed to do so.

Temer and his family have since moved back to their former home, the official residence of the vice-president, where they had been living since 2011.

Temer could have called for the intercession of a fellow Latin American in his attempt to rid the Brazilian presidential palace of “evil spirits.”

    GET OUT makes history

‘‘Get Out’’ has now earned more than $100 million at the box office, making Peele the first African-American writer-director to pass that threshold with his debut feature film.

The fun rumors of the day… Bieber fever has gone to a new…

The fun rumors of the day… Bieber fever has gone to a new level.. apparently hundreds–that’s right hundreds–of fans say Justin turn into a reptile ..

Buzzfeed is reporting everything you need to know about the Justin Bieber reptilian conspiracy theory here.. from the article:

Much of the conspiracy hinges on an article ALLEGEDLY published (and then quickly taken down) on Perth Now, with a headline reading “Hundreds Of Fans Claim They Saw Justin Bieber Turn Into Giant Reptile”.

The alleged story went on to claim police had been called by distressed fans who saw “gross, coloured scales” all over Bieber’s body.

This site seemed to kick off the conspiracies, with the added bonus of more quotes about Lizard Bieber from the very reliable source of “local skater.”

“He was hanging around with this big guy, his bodyguard I guess, and we were just staring because he kept turning into a huge reptile,” said a local skater. “His bodyguard was pointing at us, shouting that he’d kick our teeth in if we didn’t put our phones away.”

So the conspiracy continues. And with each new post, Tweet, or Tumbl, it grows more..

    Justin Bieber….. the reptilian shapeshifter.

Not the first time this rumor has been around though.

Back during his court appearance in 2014, his eyes created a stir when they appeared to change quite a bit, either because of a glitch. Or because his inner-reptilian was coming out.

The most famous scene of ROGUE ONE was totally a last minute…

The most famous scene of ROGUE ONE was totally a last minute idea..

Gareth Edwards in an interview with Fandango:

He arrives and obliterates the Calamari ship, and then the blockade runner gets out just in time and he pursues the blockade runner. And then [editor] Jabez [Olssen] was like, ‘I think we need to get Darth on that ship,’ and I thought, yeah, that’s a brilliant idea and would love to do it, but there’s no way they’re going to let us do it. It’s a big number and we had, what, like three or four months before release. Kathy [Kennedy] came in and Jabez thought, fuck it, and pitched her this idea, and she loved it. Suddenly within a week or two, we were at Pinewood shooting that scene.
