The rumors that Kane Parsons didn’t know what he was doing on Backrooms seem to be utterly ridiculous

Mark Duplass tells people that claims Parsons didn’t direct are wrong..

What started as a bizarre internet creepypasta and YouTube phenomenon has now turned into one of the most anticipated horror films of the summer. Backrooms, directed by young filmmaker Kane Parsons, is being predicted to have a potentially big box office weekend coming..

Parsons, known online for his eerie Backrooms videos that exploded in popularity on YouTube, managed to turn a simple concept of endless yellow hallways and mundane existential dread into a full-fledged feature film backed by a24films..

Some internet users began speculating that Parsons did not truly direct the film himself and that someone else may have secretly taken over production behind the scenes.

The rumor spread across social media quickly, with some people claiming that a young creator like Parsons could not have realistically handled a movie of this scale.

Mark Duplass spoke out.. he pushed back on those claims and defended Parsons. Duplass confirmed that Kane Parsons absolutely directed the film and that the speculation was absurd.

@duplassmark

You may like the movie. You may not. But you should know that Kane Parsons is the one and only director of THE BACKROOMS.

In many ways, the rumors almost speak to the disbelief some people still have that a young internet creator could successfully transition from YouTube horror shorts into a major theatrical release. But Parsons already proved with his online work that he understands atmosphere, tension, and the kind of surreal horror that modern audiences connect with.

In the end, Backrooms represents something bigger than just another horror movie release. It is yet another example of internet culture and independent creators finding their way into mainstream Hollywood.

What started as grainy videos uploaded online may now become one of the surprise horror success stories of the year.

At this point we can say the government is releasing the Corbell and Knapp files

The government seems to be getting provoked by these two people to reveal more information

One of our favorite topics here has always been UFOs and UAP disclosure, and few people have been more at the forefront of that movement than Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp. Corbell, who became widely known for documentaries including Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers and more recently Sleeping Dog, appeared recently on NewsNation to discuss the latest UAP disclosures that were quietly released right before Memorial Day.

But surprisingly, Corbell did not seem particularly impressed by the document dump.

According to Corbell, much of what the government is now unsealing is not truly “new” information at all. Instead, he argued that independent UFO journalists like himself and Knapp had already pushed many of these incidents into public view years ago through leaks, investigations, witness testimony, and video releases. In Corbell’s view, the government is essentially confirming material that had already been circulating within the UFO research community for quite some time.

What these files do appear to confirm, however, is something much bigger and perhaps more unsettling: that the United States government has been documenting strange aerial encounters, unidentified craft, military sightings, and unexplained phenomena for decades while revealing very little of it publicly. That alone is enough to keep fueling public distrust and fascination.

Corbell even went a step further during his recent appearances, claiming that individuals connected to various “alphabet agencies” have privately contacted him seeking guidance on how disclosure information should eventually be presented to the American public.

Whether one believes all of Corbell’s claims or not, it is undeniable that he and Knapp have become central figures in the modern disclosure movement.

And now, seemingly out of nowhere over the past several days, another strange rumor mill has started developing online and within the inner political discourse of Washington D.C. Rumors continue to swirl that Donald Trump could be preparing to reveal or comment on a much larger piece of UAP-related information. At the moment there is no single credible source driving the speculation, and much of it appears to be spreading through podcasts, social media channels, insider chatter, and UFO communities rather than official confirmation.

Whether any of it turns out to be true remains to be seen.

But one thing has become increasingly evident in recent years: if people want to hear about UAP incidents before the government formally acknowledges them, many are turning not to official press conferences, but instead to voices like George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell..

In many cases, the journalists appear to be several steps ahead of the official disclosures themselves.
