Plumbers of Walmart: Sometimes the conspiracy is as simple as that

There have been a number of theories concerning the reasons behind WALMART suddenly closing 5 stores for ‘plumbing issues.’  Among the many things being considered by the speculators who theorize in such conspiracy:

    1. Jade Helm related.
    2. FEMA camps
    3. Underground tunnels to protect us from a nuclear/bio attack
    4. The elite prepping their bunkers for the yet unannounced asteroid
    5. The end of civilization as we know it.

But .. perhaps CLYDE LEWIS was on to something the other night when he had an alternative alternative theory: It was all about the money..

Just yesterday, a report was filed by CNNMONEY about the United Food and Commercial Workers union filing an injunction with the National Labor Relations Board to fight the closure.. From CNN:

Walmart unexpectedly closed five stores last week in Texas, California, Florida and Oklahoma, for what it said were severe plumbing problems. That put 2,200 people out of work.

But the United Food and Commercial Workers union filed an injunction with the National Labor Relations Board on behalf of Walmart Monday seeking to stop workers from losing their jobs. It wants the NLRB to force Walmart to rehire all of the terminated workers.

Walmart said the workers at the affected stores were given two months pay, which is required under federal law regarding layoff notices. But the workers could be out of a job by mid-June unless they find a position at a different Walmart store. The stores are expected to be closed about six months for repairs.

But OUR Walmart says the company’s claim of plumbing problem is just an excuse to punish workers for protesting for higher pay. Workers at the store closed in Pico Rivera, California, led one of the first Black Friday protests back in 2012.

Walmart didn’t comment on the newest speculation..

I have read some reaction, though. A few say that this newest conspiracy theory was the mainstream theory and it’s only mean to throw us off of the other REAL conspiracy theory.. which could be any of the above numbered conspiracy theories or a brand new theory yet to be publicly conspired or opined about. Get that?
    Or ..
The truth could be as simple as this: Walmart wanted to stop the spreading protests by performing a Reagan. He fired the airline workers. Walmart got rid of the cashiers.

And when the stores reopen? I wonder how many SELF CHECKOUT lanes will exist….

  • The Plumbing of Walmart story in perspective

The Plumbing of Walmart story in perspective

Walmart suddenly closed stores in a number of states last week.. All for what the corporation called plumbing problems. Every news account however details that no plumbing permits are being sought..workers in Walmart were suddenly without work.

    Conspiracy theorists went hog wild.

    JADE HELM!!
    FEMA CAMPS!!
    ASTEROID STRIKE!!!

If you want to hear an alternate, sensible, and true podcast about, I have an idea.

Last night Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis tackled the WALMART closing issue in a refreshing way, Clyde Lewis correctly said that this has nothing to do with FEMA camps or Jade Helm.. instead, if you look at the stores WALMART suddenly closed for the ‘plumbing’ issues, it was all locations where workers had previously protested low wages. Yes, there is more to the story. But conspiracy theorists have gone overboard. Sometimes the answer is much simpler than a vast conspiracy.
But we also know that the official plumbing story doesn’t hold an ounce of water..

  • THE ‘PLUMBING OF WALMART’ CONSPIRACY THEORIES

THE ‘PLUMBING OF WALMART’ CONSPIRACY THEORIES

Six Walmarts closing all at the same time in different cities. For six months.

    And ‘plumbing issues’ were blamed..

Employees given no warnings.. shelves were completely stocked. Just five hours notice was given at a California location..

And as you can imagine, countless conspiracy theories are abounding all across the Internet..
This video summarizes things quite well:

    [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZJZA3qQj8w]

This is a little creepy if I saw so myself..

A few news articles, mostly local, are picking this story up at this point.
One article posted on Tulsa’s CHANNEL 8 about how the closing has come as a surprise.. they sum it up this way:

The Walmart on Admiral and Memorial Drive closed for repairs Monday night. Tuesday afternoon, customers were still trying to get in.
The message about the repairs may not have made it to all the customers, but for employees like Dane Humphreys, it was loud and clear.
“There are a lot of things that don’t seem right to me,” said Humphreys.

No it does not seem right.

Dreams and unnamed sources: The ‘EX’ files on Lubitz

Germanwings co-pilot had dreams about plane crashing, report says »

But we are just finding out so much about Lubitz so quickly, aren’t we?  The problem I have with all of these stories is that unnamed people are being quoted and we are not finding the true source of the information. Where does it come from? Family? Friends? The EX?  I am not trying to cast too big a shadow of doubt—I believe in conspiracy but also know that not everything is one, so i am trying to be cautious but sensible.  But here is a quote from the FOX NEWS story that gets me into the caution zone:

The New York Post reported that the German newspaper Bild quoted an ex-girlfriend saying that Lubitz “would wake up in the middle of the night screaming, “We’re crashing!”
“When I heard about the crash, one thing that he said kept going through my head: ‘One day I’m going to do something that will change the whole system, and everyone will know my name and remember it.’ ” the woman told the paper, according to the Post.
“I didn’t know what he meant, but now it makes sense,” the woman added.
The Post also reported that French TV channel iTELE reported Lubitz and another girlfriend of seven years shared an apartment in Dusseldorf and planned to get married next year. However, the channel had said Lubtiz’s fiancée ended the relationship the day before the crash.

So how convenient. Suddenly when a big crime is committed, we are told by this EX that she broke up with him a day prior.. And we also have been told as a child he loved this area of the ALPS. And we also know that he was DREAMING about crashing a plane now.. All of this added up together sure sounds like the perfect story book beginning and ending …

I think this girlfriend story is a little sketchy. Don’t get me wrong, again, I am not trying to create rumors where there are none.. but I would think investigators should be asking more about this EX.. asking why the breakup happened. If it did. Asking more about those dreams. If they did..

And if someone is speaking about ‘doing something everyone will remember,’ or something of the like, the partner usually queries a lot more about that than this girlfriend apparently did.

And now pilots are going to have to sign away their medical information on a regular basis to a corporation to ensure something of this nature will never happen again.. I guess Andreas Lubitz will be remembered for that…

….but I keep pondering the ‘we’re crashing!!’ dreams, and they are peculiar.  I have reservations about buying into the storyline at this point—at least as it is being presented by the supposed ex-girlfriend of 24 hours.

And let me ask something more.. in our information age where everyone tweets and tumbles and Facebooks into the night, where is the social media presence of Lubitz? Or this girlfriend?

  • WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CONSPIRACY IS ON THE OTHER SERVER?

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CONSPIRACY IS ON THE OTHER SERVER?

Lots of trolls have been online lately.. when you hear the term, you’re accustomed to thinking of teenage twits in the wasteland of their parents’ dark basement.. 4CHANers posing as people and knocking around the innocent with online bullying and fake news..

But these trolls are scientists. And they are trolling conspiracy websites and forums in an attempt to make the muddy waters even dirtier..

A new study concludes that ‘anti-science’ conspiracy theorists don’t know when they are being fooled by insane conspiracy theories.. According to the research published on PLOS.ORG,  people who already believe in conspiracy are more apt to believing in more of it and finding information to back their claims rather than refute it.. Even more, the study says, people will engage in social media pages more when they realize they found a place that would allow their beliefs–beliefs that are typically opposite of the mainstream of society on any given topic..

Here is how the RAW STORY described the way the study was conducted:

The researchers examined social media patterns for 1.2 million Facebook users and found that nearly 92 percent of those who engage with Italian conspiracy theory pages interact almost exclusively with conspiracy theory pages.

The study also found that conspiracy theory posts are much more likely to be shared and liked by Facebook users.

The researchers then tested the strength of these users’ biases by posting “troll information” – or sarcastic comments parodying anti-science views – on Facebook.

“These posts are clearly unsubstantiated claims, like the undisclosed news that infinite energy has been finally discovered, or that a new lamp made of actinides (e.g. plutonium and uranium) might solve problems of energy gathering with less impact on the environment, or that the chemical analysis revealed that chemtrails contains sildenafil citratum (the active ingredient of Viagra),” the researchers said.

They found that 78 percent of those who “liked” these 4,709 troll posts interacted primarily with conspiracy theory pages, as were 81 percent of those who commented on them.

The researchers also noted that anti-conspiracy theorists often wasted “cognitive resources” pushing back against these unscientific “troll” claims, even when they were “satirical imitation of false claims.”

There are some interesting parts to this study but also some creepy angles to consider.

Most people on Facebook have either been duped by a fake ONION story or saw a friend get sidelined by fraud information or parody.. It’s a truly self-defeating time in someone’s life when other friends post the SNOPES refute to ‘school’ the tin foil hat wearing Facebook user. But for scientists to purposely troll and unknowingly study people who didn’t take  the opportunity to volunteer for such a study is a little more creepy..  While there is no dubious note being placed on the study results from me, the notion that people unknowingly were becoming mocked and the butt of jokes in the elite scientific circles is a bit too much..

There are parallels that can be drawn from this, however. And positive ones as well.. First off, it’s always good to ascertain the source of information you are getting–this is important for this website as well, as we often source out and link places where we get information and attempt to trace any news back to an original source before your consumption takes place on NIGHT TERROR NEWS. Going further than that, though, it’s also good to consider those sources and conduct careful review before buying into something that sounds a little fishy. I am reminded of the MARK DICE videos where he is able to get people to sign a petition for just about anything, including one where he asked people to sign a form demanding the banning of H2O from the environment.. People did.

You can always find a few..

But on the other side of this coin, there are positives to have a doubtful mind when you read news..

While some enjoy debunking conspiracy theories, there are truthful moments of history where conspiracy took place. And times where sordid events occurred because of ill-timed or contrived actions on behalf of those in charge of society.. there is truth to many conspiracies.. they all don’t pan out. And they all don’t make sense.. However, simply buying into the ‘official’ line without questions is not scientific at all, and contrary to how an astute functioning brain should actually operate..

When the Sandy Hook nightmare took center state in December 2012, a number of conspiracy theories abounded. In part that happened due to awful reporting from mainstream sources, and wrong information being disseminated on national news programming..

One man’s conspiracy theory is another man’s fact.
Sometimes this argument over conspiracy theory itself annoys me.

When George W. Bush was in office, many liberal Democrats found themselves being in the uncomfortable position of agreeing with Alex Jones that 9/11 was an inside job. When Barack Obama assumed the presidency, those same people who bought into old conspiracy suddenly matured and downplayed anything that questioned the public relations talking points about the President. Suddenly Alex Jones became a kook who, some may even say, should lose his First Amendment right..

There are very rational people who want to deliver us from talking points and get to the bottom of a story. Without a conspiracy theorist, Woodward and Bernstein would never had asked more questions.. Iran Contra would have been ignored.. Bill Clinton would not have had sexual relations with an intern, at least to our knowledge. History itself has been shaped by people asking more question, delving deeper, and using a scientific approach to factual discernment.

That is not to say people aren’t wild and wide-eyed in their belief systems at times. It’s tough to believe that reptilian shape shifters are reading teleprompters on the evening news. But I for one don’t want to take away anyone’s ability to claim that. I will discern the information I read and research the sources of them..

And finally, with all that said, there is one more aspect to ‘conspiracy theory’ about science, vaccines, and all of those types of topics  I think would be worthwhile to state.. Do vaccines cause autism? Probably not. But do vaccines cause injuries? Yes. There is a Vaccine Injury Fund.  Do scientific studies conclude anything? Yes. But other studies refute those conclusions and keep the topic going.. is coffee bad for you? Does traffic cause autism? Are airplanes releasing toxic pollution that is changing our atmosphere? All of those questions and more get answers.. and then new answers and theories..

Perhaps this is where you need to take a step back BEFORE you conclude anything.

What is science? It’s not a man. Or a deity. Or a God. No matter what some may think. Instead it is defined this way:

the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

And on those types of things, so often there are no answers.

If I asked you: Are there colors we have never seen? You’d most likely first say no, we have seen them all. Then you may back it up by saying the very factual statement that since we have already explored the electromagnetic spectrum, there are no more reasons to ask this question. And no more colors coming.

But what about that alternate universe that may exist? That other galaxy where all things would be new? The place where, quite possibly, gravity is not a rule and things don’t quite work they way they do in our logic.

Science is evolving constantly.. finding out more.. And asking.
    Asking.
And anyone who would start to diminish the need for people to keep asking questions are not scientists at all..

  • Predictive programming, or reaching high into the sky?

Predictive programming, or reaching high into the sky?

    [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN0CMGNA3uk?feature=oembed]

Here is some cool conspiracy for your Sunday..

The theory behind this video: Predictive programming in BACK TO THE FUTURE.

The YOUTUBE video is well done, it gives us in depth coverage of Marty’s “Twin Pines” mall warnings about terrorists, and constant 9/11’s appearing in the movie.. of course numbers had to be inverted for that to be true.. There’s also the all seeing Illuminati eye.

The one part that got me a bit was the flames of the time traveling car looking like an 11 while a symbol for a fake store looked like a 9.

But for this video to be truly predictive programming screaming to viewers that a terrorist attack would occur on September 11 almost 20 years later, a lot of other things would have to be true, too.. Not to downplay those interesting numeric idiosyncrasies..

The filmmakers of BACK TO THE FUTURE would have had to be in the know. Robert Zemeckis, the writer and director, was apart of this conspiracy. So .. WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT. THE POLAR EXPRESS, and other BACK TO THE FUTURE films would have the same little Easter Eggs of predictive programming as well?

While I never underestimate the chances that people are ‘in the know’ and that big groups behind the scenes are deplorable in their evil, some people see symbols and oddities in places where they may not be.

This message board linked is a good example of the fierce debate that even exists within conspiracy circles..

But that scene of the blazing 11 .. that one gets me. Not to say I buy into the full idea that Zemeckis wanted to warn us about something that would happen two decades later, but in hindsight lots of scenes are creepy. When pieced together..

But why didn’t anyone warn us of the 1993 attack. Or the bombing of the USS Cole. Or did they?

One of my favorite websites in the world is the 9/11 oddities and coincidences page on KILLTOWN. This is one of those website gems I have printed, saved, bookmarked and in a safe place in case the site ever ceases to exist.. On that page, there are years’ worth of strange occurrences in relation to 9/11, including just the strange idea that the Pentagon construction began on a 9/11 in 1941–months before another ‘day of infamy’ attack on America..  Another little point of interest is how Jim Jones wanted to fly a commercial airliner into San Francisco.. and how he didn’t care to tell the pilot how to land, only how to fly. The KILLTOWN page goes on in epic detail .. and we have the LONE GUNMAN episode.. and weird references in the SIMPSONS. And so much more.

Included with that pop culture listing: BACK TO THE FUTURE…

We can believe what we want to. We can see what we need to.
Just use as much careful and concrete common sense you can muster up. Use discernment. See the forest from the trees..
    And don’t stretch it.
Truth is weirder than fiction, of course..still don’t stretch the truth.

But that blazing 11.. and that 9. I see it.

While it’s not the first time black helicopters have swirled above American cities in training exercises, it’s getting renewed attention after Minnesota oddities surprised unknowingly citizens below..

CBS WCCO4 REPORTED IT THIS WAY:
