A conservative radio host whom President Donald Trump has…

A conservative radio host whom President Donald Trump has credited with being instrumental to his upset victory claims he was assaulted outside a California restaurant Tuesday night.

Michael Savage, the 74-year-old host of the nationally syndicated talk radio show Savage Nation, was dining solo at Servino Ristorante in Tiburon, with his toy poodle, Teddy, keeping him company, when another patron allegedly began taunting him by saying, ‘weener, weener.’

The heckler was apparently referring to Savage’s legal name, Michael Alan Weiner.

As Savage was heading out the door, the verbal abuse allegedly turned physical when the jeerer knocked the septuagenarian to the ground, according to the talk show host’s attorney, Daniel Horowitz.

When another diner tried to step in between the brawlers, he was punched in the face, Horowitz told the Mercury News.

Savage’s beloved 12-year-old pooch also got shoved after getting caught in the middle of the scuffle.

The disturbance at the Italian restaurant at a shopping center on Main Street has been confirmed by the Tiburon Police Department.

When police officers arrived at the scene at around 8.25pm Tuesday, they found that Savage and his attacker had each placed the other under citizen’s arrest.

The reaction among fans and foes has been varied.. some on Facebook lamenting Savage’s bombastic style.. and others lamenting Bell’s quick attitude to sue..

BELL GAB  included..

Among one comment made on Bellgab,

The Michael Savage show with those comments was back in Sept.  No one here even heard it, or if they did they didn’t even find it postworthy.  Airyn didn’t hear it.  Apparently Art didn’t hear it.

One of Art’s ”friends” told him, and he couldn’t just keep it to himself.  If anyone upset the pregnant lady and caused all the emotional turmoil in his family, it was Art Bell.  If anyone has caused this to be spread around the internet, it’s Art Bell.

The WASHINGTON TIMES reported,

The longtime host of the paranormal-themed “Coast to Coast AM” program sued Mr. Savage for defamation and invasion of privacy on Wednesday over comments said during a Sept. 25 episode of “Savage Nation” that he believes were made in reference to him and his wife.

“I generally avoid gun questions. I know this from the first day in radio. I learned you never do certain topics where you can destroy your show,” Mr. Savage said during the broadcast, according to a transcript contained in the 16-page complained filed by Mr. Bell’s attorneys in San Francisco federal court this week.

“You say UFOs, you wind up in the Philippines with a 10-year-old hooker and you are off the radio after a number of years. You can’t do UFOs,” Mr. Savage continued. “That’s an in joke, by the way, for people who understand the business. There are other topics you can’t do.”

Mr. Bell, 71, predominately discussed UFOs during the decades he spent hosting “Coast to Coast AM.” In 2006 he married a much younger Philippines national, Airyn Ruiz Bell, and announced his retirement the following year.

In October 2006, Bell threatened Rogers Cadenhead with a lawsuit for some allegedly libelous comments posted on Cadenhead’s blog, which Cadenhead has said he will defend himself against under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act..
Bell also was famous for a lawsuit in the year 2000..

I have been following JOHN B WELLS for some time .. For those who don’t know who he is, he was once the weekend host of Coast to Coast AM. He left the program to do his own show, the CARAVAN TO MIDNIGHT–or he was forced out by George Noory and company at Coast–and now he has a pay-per-listen business and broadcasts daily. Ironically, his ‘Midnight’ show airs during the daytime hours.

He also hosts conspiracy topics. Often I agree with him.  Often I don’t. But I have always been entertained by his style, his voice, and his knowledge and seemingly amazing memory of interesting tidbits of music, UFOlogy, and conspiracy theory.

In this video linked here, he unloads quite a bit on Alex Jones, George Noory, and Michael Savage.. It was quite extraordinary to hear some of the statements from Wells. He wants nothing to do with Alex Jones’ INFOWARS, and even alleges that the site simply regurgitates the stories of others and credits themselves with breaking news. He also goes in depth on his criticism of “Dr Savage” and Savages’ tendancy to brag about his wealth on his program.. He also gives Noory, the current COAST host, some zingers about the new ‘Paranormal Date website Noory has been promoting..

Wells was a divisive host to a degree when he was on Coast to Coast AM. However, his programs rated higher than the weekly shows hosted by Noory and often had more listeners.
Perhaps that’s why it’s no surprise that Noory and Danheiser may have wanted Wells to be off the air..
Even Art Bell has commented on the Wells’ situation in the past.

But to hear Wells put into words some of the feelings he has evolved into having is fascinating.. Amazing.. Riveting. And regardless of what some may say about his over indulgence on Sandy Hook or other theories, he is interesting. And that is the very thing that Coast to Coast AM currently lack: Being interesting.
