Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the states, not a flake was falling, not even on the lakes
The scene around the United States of America couldn’t be more different than it is when compared to just one Christmas season ago. Last year, snow blanketed vast portions of the nation.. a storm before Christmas whitened the grounds in areas that didn’t have white Christmas in years.Fast forward, one year later, and 2011 is bone dry. Actually it’s quite wet. But that wetness if green and not white.A week before Christmas, and not only does most of the U.S. stand to have a wet Christmas with mud on the ground, but the temperatures are warm seemingly from coast to coast.Detroit baking in the 50s with norms in the 30s.. New York City and Philly are high above freezing.. grounds saturated by flooding rains in the fall are just muddy. Christmas lights high above trees in towns with no scenic snow falling around it.It could be a mood buster for some, but malls are happy. Not only are people shopping (a little) this year, but there is no need for giant bulldozers to clear parking lots.Heatmiser, indeed, is in charge. If not him, it’s La Nina, the cooling of the Pacific Ocean and shifting of jet streams. What was true for winter in 2010-11 will not be true for 11-12. Instead, warm pools of muddy grass will be dominant …A mood-busting mean one indeed that this Heatmiser can be. -

Gingrich locks in the cartoonist block
Iowa may end up not voting for Newt Gingrich–and America may grow to (re)disdain him after they hear him enough, but a voting block that supports him wholeheartedly: Political cartoonists. They point out that he’s a dream come true.. the easiest to draw since Nixon.. The big pudgy face, mean eyebrows, and large head of white bushy hair.. it’s a cartoonist’s paradise .. The actual face of Newt is already drawn for them.. in photos around Iowa and the nation, he looks like a giant bubble headed cartoon of a real person.. An inflated head. And inflated ego to match.I can imagine some cartoonists of the Democratic persuasion may even switch parties in order to vote for their money maker for a potential 4 years–or at least one campaign season. -

Defense bill will NOT be vetoed
Didn’t this just seem predictable..?
Remember, the White House WANTED the additions that were made.
Life is a battlefield. So, now, is the homeland.
And yes, it passed the House last night.
White House issues statement saying it will not veto defense bill – @AP
— Breaking News (@BreakingNews) December 14, 2011
Disturbing news, as this is the bill which would allow for indefinite detention. More details here. EDIT: Jay Carney’s statement on the changes that allowed the bill to go through. EDIT 2: More details on the bill’s changes.

An active earth.. and active year
This video showcases earthquakes across the planet since January 1, 2011… back when birds were falling from the sky and the giant tsunami didn’t happen yet. And now, almost a year later, this video illustraes how much shaking took place in 2011.And it’s obviously frightening to note…..2011 isn’t over yet. Hopefully nothing major needs to be added to this video on YouTube before the end of the calendar year. -

Crushed hopes in new BATMAN film?
Veering away from the world of reality for a bit this Monday evening, we here at EarthInformer are constantly amazed with the Christopher Nolan BATMAN films. Heath Ledger undoubtedly redefined what it means to be a villain in a Hollywood production in his two BAT flicks already released.
True to characters.
True to comics.
And true epics. And with the box office numbers being as deplorable as they have been–the lowest levels since SEPTEMBER 2001 levels–they could use a big burst of fun and adrenaline. They could get it with the DARK KNIGHT RISES.The movie will feature the whole gang from Gotham City, with a few new additions: Bane, the villain, and Catwoman the villainess. But the newest poster revealed today teases audiences about a potential bleak ending to the film: A ‘legend ends’. And a a Batman mask laying in ruins on the ground.July 2012. Hollywood reborn. And Batman dies?To be determined that month in a box office near you. -

On the Monday radar
- A bank run is taking place in Latvia
- A Russian billionaire will run against Putin
- Rats show empathy just like humans
- Winter (yes winter) temps in the Northeast will be downright springlike later this week.. Temps in the 60s for DC, Philly, and NYC
- Despite White House comments that Obama may veto the Defense reauthorization bill, Senator Levin now reveals that the White House WANTED language on indefinite detention of American citizens..

Jersey boom
This past weekend, New Jersey residents by the dozens began tweeting and posting on their Facebook pages that they felt an earthquake. Northeast residents now know how one feels, since the 5.8 August quake rattled nerves and buildings.
But after first hand reports on shaking began to fly online from Egg Harbor, Cranbury, East Brunswick, North Brunswick, Trenton, Somerset, Edison, Plainfield, Piscataway, Iselin, South Plainfield and other locations, the United States Geological Survey in Colorado said there was no quake.. no shake.. Instead, the USGS commented that the strange shaking could have been thunder or a sonic boom. The National Weather Service had no evidence of thunder.. Therefore the only conclusion that could be arrived at would by a sonic boom.. Perhaps from a distance, or a military jet.
Or maybe Snooki, somewhere on the Jersey shore dropping her purse.

Could these be the reasons for the Southeast chemtrails being reported?
An interesting report on Accuweather tonight about ‘military chaff’ over the Southeast..The images of the aluminum being released into the atmosphere is causing radar reflections.. there was no rain over the SE yesterday but looking at radar, you wouldn’t know it.It was filled with greens and yellows..There have been many other instances in which military chaff had to be explained during weather reports..Even You Tube videos often show forecasters on local stations trying to explain why a sunny day turns milky white.. and why radar reflections occur even though nothing is falling. -

A truly cruel joke
If it’s true that we are living in a simulated computer matrix, then a cruel joke life is.. A true joke indeed.
As for the Earthinformer, I’m going to start looking for the pixels that would prove the highly frightening prospect that an advanced race are watching us on some screen…watching our years, fears, tears, and not caring about us little programmed Sims.
