March arrives tomorrow. With it .. a lion’s roar.

Weather forecasters have been watching for days at a possible storm developing for the entire Midwest through East Coast. It appears that the right ingredients are about to come together to give up to 18 inches of snow (or more) for some locations..

Accuweather’s latest map forecasts a possible 12-18 inch potential for a heavily populated area of Pennsylvania. I have a personal interest in this storm since a portion of that sliver of heavy snow is right overtop of HORROR REPORT home base..

Other areas, including major cities, will have heavy snow and ice..  The homeless in major cities will continue to be hard hit..

The storm is coming as people, weary from a long and cold winter, are looking forward to spring. Hopes for an early warm spell have already been dashed.. And now this widespread heavy snowstorm is set to hit–it will be long lasting and will also end with a bitter cold blast as it departs the area hit.. 1,300 miles will be hit by a foot of snow or more from this mess..

The Weather Channel, which names storms, is calling this one Titan. That name, given by the channel, appears to be fitting.. There are major snow totals coming for a large area already experiencing unforgiving cold and snow..

Walter Williams was in a body bag at a Mississippi funeral home when, much to the shock of workers, was found alive.. he was kicking as they opened the bag at the Porter & Sons Funeral home in Lexington..

The coroner was called to Williams’ home … the 78-year-old was declared dead on Wednesday night at 9pm.

The next day he was breathing and kicking, trapped in a body bag. Frighteningly, he was close to meeting a final, final end. He was in the embalming room when he was discovered to still be alive..

The Holmes County Coroner, Dexter Howard, said that he thinks the pacemaker in Williams’ body stopped working but then started again.. Dexter said, at first, that the body of Williams was lifeless and without a pulse.

Questions exist.. was this a miracle, or the bad decisions of an under qualified staff..?
Where did Williams’ consciousness go during his hours of death?
How may this affect Dexter’s reelection chances?
And finally..
The one irony, if any does exist in this story, is that the coroner’s name is Dexter.. Fitting for the story, perhaps..

I have really never liked horror movies based on true stories.. they seem a little over the top, often. And in this matter, perhaps insensitive and tacky.. Sony has just bought the rights to a horror movie based on the death of Elisa Lam in Los Angeles in 2013.. 

You may remember recent stories about Lam in the news. She was the student who was found dead in the water tank of then famed and cursed Cecil Hotel–for two weeks hotel visitors were complaining of a smell and taste in the water, later they found Lam’s body. 

In recent months, a surveillance video from the elevator in the hotel was made famous because it seemed to show Lam acting odd moments before she supposedly entered the roof area and somehow got into a high and secured water tank.. 

The coroner ruled the death to be accidental. Not an accident is SONY making profits off of the death of the innocent young woman. 

New visitors may not care.. old timers may see a big difference. The HORROR REPORT has changed its design for the second time in history..

Late night TV has shifted..
Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers.. and all that goes with.

Jay Leno appeared as a guest on the Arsenio Hall show the other evening to announce that the program was picked up for a second season.

Things aren’t as rosy for Fallon and Meyers..

According to DEADLINE, Late Night with Seth Meyers has fallen below 2009’s Fallon program.. and even more, Jimmy Kimmel is tightening the 11:30 race for top late night status..

My favorite Facebook weather source, the Weatherboy Weather posted an “OMG” over top of today’s snowstorm forecast.. This is beginning to look like a long duration snow storm set to drop up to 20 inches or more in spots..  prepare now because by Monday all travel may be temporarily grounded.. The other concern may be ice if enough warmth spreads into the storm.. It’s a March storm after all–and March storms typically produce heavy snow. In like a lion.. a cold, cold lion in winter.
