    Could the PENGUIN be the villain!?

    Excitement builds in the world of Gothamites..

    Variety’s Justin Kroll says that Oswald Cobblepot will be the one confounding the Dark Knight, posting the following on Twitter:

    “Take this with a grain of salt as things are constantly changing in the DCEU but I’m hearing the Penguin is possibly the choice to play the main villain in THE BATMAN. Sources add even if Reeves decide to go another route the studio could then make him the main villain in BOP.”

    This is just a rumor at this point.

    Reeves is still working on the script, so that could always change but of the multiple BIRDS OF PREY scripts submitted, one does have the Penguin as the main heavy. Either way, it seems WB wants this character cast in the universe sooner rather then later.

    The Penguin first appeared in Detective Comics #58 all the way back in December of 1941 .. let’s all hope we see him again … it’s one of the best villains in any comic that ever existed.

    Laura Watson was with her two children and their cousin at Plessey Woods Country Park, Northumberland, when she snapped an innocent-enough picture of the three children climbing a large tree.
    But she was terrified, when examining the photo, to see a chilling figure standing just behind her son Byrin, nine.
    Laura, from Newcastle, insists that a figure is in the photograph, despite no one being there apart from son Byrin, daughter Charlotte Hill, 15, and their cousin Jack.
    The “face” is ghostly white, with dark staring eyes, and what appears to be a hand reaching out for her son’s shoulder.

    How will Disney market a movie of dead people!?

    In an interview with Collider this week, Dave Bautista discussed reactions from friends and family to the end of ‘Infinity War’ and how he had to reassure them his character of Drax the Destroyer will be back:

    “I got a lot of texts saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re dead, your character is dead.’ They were really like heartbroken and I was like ‘I’m gonna be in [‘Avengers 4’]. I’m gonna be in ‘Guardians 3.” I don’t know how they’re bringing me back, but yeah, somehow I’m going to make it because, as far as I know, I am going to be in ‘Guardians 3,’ so I have to be back.”

    After the meeting, Kardashian headed to Ivanka and Jared’s DC home for a private dinner.
    It was to be a continuation of the White House meeting, since Kushner is a passionate advocate for criminal justice reform after living through his father’s imprisonment.

    CBS12 in Florida now reporting:

    Confessed school shooter Nikolas Cruz claimed in newly released cellphone videos that he would become famous.
    The videos, released Wednesday by prosecutors and shared to CBS12 by our partners at the Sun-Sentinel, show Cruz on Feb. 14 shortly before deputies say he shot and killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
    “I’m going to be the next school shooter of 2018,” Cruz said. “My goal is at least 20 people with an AR-15 … when you see me on the news, you’ll all know who I am.”
    “I can’t wait,” he added.

    “A Grand Jury has voted to indict Harvey Weinstein on charges of Rape in the First and Third Degrees, and Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. this afternoon. Read the two-page indictment here, but a warning there are some graphic descriptions of sex acts within it.

    If found guilty, Oscar winner Weinstein could find himself behind bars for up to 25-years.

    “The announcement of Mr. Weinstein’s Indictment, does not come as a surprise. Indeed, it was predicted by me this morning in an earlier statement we issued,” he also made a point of saying. “We also note of course that the Indictment merely mirrors the same charges in the criminal court Complaint and does not add anything to the case we did not already know.We asked the District Attorney for more time so that Mr Weinstein’s attorneys could gather the material needed to properly prepare him for his grand jury testimony but that request was denied.”

    The pattern of horns trumphets and booms that began around 2011 continues..  and the loud noises being heard in Pennsylvania are only intensifying along with conspiracy theories of their source ..

    A joint-investigation into the mysterious booms rattling the communities of Bucks and Lehigh Counties reveals the cause to be explosions, according to police.

    Authorities said Tuesday that more than 20 explosions during the early-morning hours are the reason for the booms happening in the area since April 2.

    But there is no further word on where the explosions are coming from..

    Recently the film has undergone some reshoots as fans who saw it in test screenings plain out did not like it, or how it ended…

    A finished product is set for mid-October, as the Halloween season approaches.

    Meanwhile, we will watch for the trailer …

    Word on the Sesame Street: Happytime Lawsuit

    Sesame Workshop filed a suit against the upcoming movie The Happytime Murders, an R-rated movie produced by The Jim Henson Company that recently debuted a trailer that ends with an ejaculating puppet. 

    The Sesame Street rights holders argue that imagery like that (“explicit, profane, drug-using, misogynistic, violent, copulating, and even ejaculating puppets”) will cause irrevocable damage to their brand, which has spent nearly 50 years building up a public trust and establishing itself as a destination for family-friendly children’s programming..

    Makers of the movie got creative in their response..

    STX Entertainment issued a statement on the matter saying puppet lawyer Fred, Esq. will represent the studio in the lawsuit. The studio even provided a photo of Fred.

    FRED issued a statement.

    “STX loved the idea of working closely with Brian Henson and the Jim Henson Company to tell the untold story of the active lives of Henson puppets when they’re not performing in front of children. Happytime Murders is the happy result of that collaboration and we’re incredibly pleased with the early reaction to the film and how well the trailer has been received by its intended audience. While we’re disappointed that Sesame Street does not share in the fun, we are confident in our legal position.
