Weinstein’s day of reckoning

“A Grand Jury has voted to indict Harvey Weinstein on charges of Rape in the First and Third Degrees, and Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. this afternoon. Read the two-page indictment here, but a warning there are some graphic descriptions of sex acts within it.

If found guilty, Oscar winner Weinstein could find himself behind bars for up to 25-years.

“The announcement of Mr. Weinstein’s Indictment, does not come as a surprise. Indeed, it was predicted by me this morning in an earlier statement we issued,” he also made a point of saying. “We also note of course that the Indictment merely mirrors the same charges in the criminal court Complaint and does not add anything to the case we did not already know.We asked the District Attorney for more time so that Mr Weinstein’s attorneys could gather the material needed to properly prepare him for his grand jury testimony but that request was denied.”

Strange booms that go burst in the night

The pattern of horns trumphets and booms that began around 2011 continues.. and the loud noises being heard in Pennsylvania are only intensifying along with conspiracy theories of their source ..

A joint-investigation into the mysterious booms rattling the communities of Bucks and Lehigh Counties reveals the cause to be explosions, according to police.

Authorities said Tuesday that more than 20 explosions during the early-morning hours are the reason for the booms happening in the area since April 2.

But there is no further word on where the explosions are coming from..

When we will see the HALLOWEEN 40 trailer?

Jason Blum revealed June will be a a “happy time” for Halloween fans at what I can only surmise is the hint of a trailer for the upcoming horror flick.

Recently the film has undergone some reshoots as fans who saw it in test screenings plain out did not like it, or how it ended…

A finished product is set for mid-October, as the Halloween season approaches.

Meanwhile, we will watch for the trailer …

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Word on the Sesame Street: Happytime Lawsuit

Sesame Workshop filed a suit against the upcoming movie The Happytime Murders, an R-rated movie produced by The Jim Henson Company that recently debuted a trailer that ends with an ejaculating puppet.

The Sesame Street rights holders argue that imagery like that (“explicit, profane, drug-using, misogynistic, violent, copulating, and even ejaculating puppets”) will cause irrevocable damage to their brand, which has spent nearly 50 years building up a public trust and establishing itself as a destination for family-friendly children’s programming..

Makers of the movie got creative in their response..

STX Entertainment issued a statement on the matter saying puppet lawyer Fred, Esq. will represent the studio in the lawsuit. The studio even provided a photo of Fred.

FRED issued a statement.

“STX loved the idea of working closely with Brian Henson and the Jim Henson Company to tell the untold story of the active lives of Henson puppets when they’re not performing in front of children. Happytime Murders is the happy result of that collaboration and we’re incredibly pleased with the early reaction to the film and how well the trailer has been received by its intended audience. While we’re disappointed that Sesame Street does not share in the fun, we are confident in our legal position. To the ends of the ocean! The search for light 370 ends..

The private hunt for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 will end in the coming days, a search firm said Tuesday, about four years after the plane’s disappearance sparked one of the world’s greatest aviation mysteries.

The Malaysia Airlines jet vanished in March 2014 with 239 people — mostly from China — on board, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

No sign of the plane was found in a 46,000-square mile sea search zone and the Australian-led hunt, the largest in aviation history, was suspended in January last year.

Disney wanted no part in the controversy after this week’s SOLO disaster..

In the tweet, the ABC star of her self-titled show attacked Jarrett, connecting her to the Islamist organization Muslim Brotherhood and the movie Planet of the Apes.

“Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” Barr wrote, using Jarrett’s initials while replying to a tweet which accused Jarrett of helping to cover up alleged misdeeds for the Obama administration.

When users pointed out that the tweet seemed racist, Barr replied, “Muslims r NOT a race.”

Barr, an outspoken supporter of President Trump, later tweeted her first tweet was “a joke.”

And even going further, three networks are just about to pretend that Roseanne never existed.. that the annals of history of her program were just vague memories.. 1984’s WINSTON would be proud..

Roseanne revival scheduled to air on Viacom networks Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT will be pulled from their respective schedules.

Roseanne reruns will be canceled on the three channels starting Wednesday, a Viacom spokesperson said.
