  • The big island is getting ready to blow?

The big island is getting ready to blow?

This is a matter of complete seriousness.. those in close proximity to Kilauea need to prepare now for whatever event comes next..

Today, explosive eruption at Kilauea’s summit sent an ash plume soaring 30,000 feet into the air, and officials warn that ongoing emissions — and future eruptions — could send ash falling over significant portions of the Big Island…

    30,000 feet..

    MORE..

The Hawaii Volcano Observatory said the explosion within Kilauea’s Halemaumau crater had produced a volcanic cloud that reached as high as 30,000 feet (9,000 meters) and was drifting downwind to the northeast.

The observatory said residents living along the path of the ash plume should take shelter, and maintained a code red aviation alert signaled on Tuesday, meaning no air traffic was permitted in the area.

“At any time, activity may again become more explosive, increasing the intensity of ash production and producing ballistic projectiles near the vent,” it said in a statement.

  • The ring of honor gets a crowd

The ring of honor gets a crowd

Wrestling fans read with great interest yesterday an article appearing in DeadSpin about Ring of Honor Wresting. Dave Meltzer didn’t think that the company would ever get an event with more than 10,000 people.

That changes now.. September 1, the Sears Centre in Chicago will have more than 10,000 fans for a pay per view event.

Ring of Honor wrestling now is the first professional wrestling organization besides the WWE to draw this many people since the WCW in 1999–almost twenty years of Vince McMahan total dominance!
Ring of Honor Wrestling boasts Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Rey Mysterio as its biggest draws.
In March 2017, there were rampant rumors that McMahan was interested in absorbing ROH into the WWE with a takeover. To date no further events have transpired to make that appear to be in the works. Of course with the latest bit of info on popularity the WWE may re-evaluate their next course of action.
Meanwhile McMahan has seemingly been more interested in other sports like the creation (again) of a football league. His wife is busy working for the Trump Administration…
And all of this makes me completely and totally miss those magical Monday nights of the late 90s when WWE had opposition on TNT with WCW.  Flipping back and forth ferociously to see what insults each company was hurling at the other, what stars would end of making appearances… It was a great time to be a fan.
Now… Sinclair owns ROH. Not a company that even or a sultry summer Monday would find me wanting to give ratings.
  • The defecating woman

    The defecating woman

woman defecated inside of a Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada and threw her feces at an employee after she grew irate during an argument.

The woman, who remains unnamed, was arrested Monday by Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Langley, British Columbia, where the fast food restaurant where the incident occurred is located, according to The Province.

According to knowledge now known: The store denied her access to the bathroom. She took matters into her own hands with an act of civil poop-obedience .. And then grabbed the fecal matter and threw it at the store worker. Before leaving, she used store napkins to wipe her backside…

The world now watching one of the most famous bowel movements to ever be caught on camera..

  • The Yanny Laurel Mandela Effect?

    The Yanny Laurel Mandela Effect?

Travel down this road with me briefly. Sure you are tired of this yanny vs laurel debate.. And yes, it has been ‘settled’ as much as internet memes and anger can be.

A Reddit user RolandCamry posted a short video clip including the audio on the subreddit r/blackmagicfuckery this week. The clip was actually a video of an Instagram poll asking users to vote on which word they heard.

We all suddenly got sick of hearing and debating after 18 hours straight of worldwide coverage.

It went mega-viral after popular YouTuber Cloe Feldman tweeted it on Monday — sparking the greatest debate of the past three years, right after The Dress debacle of 2015 and the weird turquoise (OR WHITE) tennis shoe from 2017.

The newest incarnation had families and friendships divided. Workplaces became cauldrons of debate and anonmosity over what word was being heard.

For me? It was laurel. Most of my co-workers heard yanny. My wife was laurel but my own son was yanny.

Last night, two friends sent me emergency SOS messages. Their hearing had changed. They heard yanny in the bright morning sun—they scoffed at my opinion of laurel. By nightfall, they were hearing laurel as much as I did.

How many times in the Mandela Effect community has there been debate over song lyrics? WE can dance if you want to , or you? Did you PRETEND or begin to pray in church when you went California Dreamin’? And …Journey? I didn’t stop believing but not sure if was a small town he or she that took the train.

All of these lyrics and words are subject for the audience’s interpretation and opinion. So often what I hear is not what you hear.. what I see if different from what is in your line of sight. Entire events look alternate. And when worlds collide and memories get fuzzy, our sense of history shifts and turns along the road to the Mandela Effect.

Perhaps those hearing yanny yesterday and suddenly hearing laurel later are simply the newest casualties of this strange phenomenon that science scoffs at and experts laugh about. The mis-memory of our time. The ultimate LIVE ACTION snappable instagrammable and tweetable Mandela Effect in real time: Yanny? Laurel? ….

Minus out all of those theories and scientific revelations as to why we are hearing two distinctly different words.. Trash it.

Instead? … maybe you’re hearing the word that simply on your personal timeline.

  • The Green Mile is a long road

The Green Mile is a long road

A woman purported to be the oldest living person ever at 128 says she hasn’t lived a single happy day in her life and her longevity is “a punishment”.
The Russian government claims Koku Istambulova is the world’s oldest person.

But she has bluntly said her longevity “was God’s will” and she “did nothing to make it happen”. While some people chalk it up to a healthy or active lifestyle, “tired” Koku said: “I have no idea how I lived until now.”

Koko is set to turn 129 in two weeks… and she added: “I have not had a single happy day in my life.”

Now that is something surely to look forward to. The Golden Years…. raining down on you.

Scientists work out what will happen when the sun dies

Professor Albert Zijslra says, ‘When a star dies it ejects a mass of gas and dust – known as its envelope – into space.

‘The envelope can be as much as half the star’s mass. This reveals the star’s core, which by this point in the star’s life is running out of fuel, eventually turning off and before finally dying.

‘It is only then the hot core makes the ejected envelope shine brightly for around 10,000 years – a brief period in astronomy. This is what makes the planetary nebula visible.

‘Some are so bright that they can be seen from extremely large distances measuring tens of millions of light years, where the star itself would have been much too faint to see.’
