The legendary Ozzy Osbourne gone at 76

He was the prince of darkness, and he ate a bat.. but now he is succumbed to his own fate, and he knows something we don’t know: what happens on the other side….

Heartbreaking news is rocking the entertainment and pop culture world today—the legendary Ozzy Osbourne has died. A titan of music, a defining voice of heavy metal, and a true icon of pop culture, Ozzy’s passing comes less than three weeks after what would now be considered his final performance.

In what was dubbed a “final bow,” Ozzy took the stage at Villa Park seated on a throne, surrounded by love, thunder, and decades of music history. That night, he told fans:

“You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The emotional gig featured performances from some of his favorite bands, including Metallica and Guns N’ Roses, culminating with a historic reunion of the original Black Sabbath lineup—Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and Ozzy himself—for the “Back to the Beginning” concert.

Following news of his passing, Metallica shared a heartfelt tribute on X (formerly Twitter), posting a photo with Ozzy and a single broken heart emoji. Sometimes, that says it all.

Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t just a musician. He was a force. A cultural shapeshifter. A survivor. The voice of rebellion and raw emotion across generations.

Rest in peace, Ozzy. And thank you—from the bottom of our hearts.

And showing how important and historic Ozzy was.. here he is performing live as the Soviet Union collapsed..

  • Wrestling super fan ‘Roddy Hogan’ dead

Wrestling super fan ‘Roddy Hogan’ dead

The wrestling community is mourning the loss of someone whose name you may not instantly recall—but once we describe him, the memories come rushing back.

Eric Servis, affectionately known to fans as Roddy Hogan, passed away after a month-long stay in the hospital, according to a post from a close friend. Since the 1980s, Eric became a familiar and beloved figure at countless wrestling events—pay-per-views, live shows, and TV tapings—dressed head-to-toe like Hulk Hogan. With his signature mustache, bandana, and undeniable presence, he brought a jolt of energy wherever he went. He was a bit smaller and maybe a little less intimidating than the real Hulkster, but every bit as dedicated. Fans lit up when they saw him—and so did the camera crews.

Here was a YouTube video from about a decade ago…

But Eric was much more than a superfan. Based in Detroit, he was an ice cream truck driver by day, and a creative force by heart—a writer, screenwriter, comedian, and entertainer…

I didn’t see him at any of the live events I attended as a kid, but I absolutely remember him from Survivor Series in the mid-’90s. I’m almost certain I saw him pop up during WrestleMania as well—my memory’s fuzzy on the exact show—but I do remember how the cameras always found him, and the crowd always responded. He was part of the fabric of that golden wrestling era. In many ways, Roddy Hogan was as much a part of the show as the superstars themselves.

Rest in peace, Eric Servis. You were one of a kind..
