    UDPATE: TMZ REPORTS SUICIDE

    Writer, producer and director Jeff Baena, known for comedies like “The Little Hours,” “Life After Beth” and “Joshy” has died, according to reports. He was 47. 

    He died Friday in his Los Angeles home, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. A cause of death was not immediately released. 

    TMZ was the first to break the news. 

    Baena was married to actress and producer Aubrey Plaza since 2021. They worked on multiple projects together, including “The Little Hours,” a 2017 R-rated comedy set in the Middle Ages, and “Life After Beth,” an R-rated comedy about zombies.

    She has not made any public statements since reports were published, but Deadline reports the family is “devastated and asks for privacy at this difficult time.”

    Tony Todd died Wednesday at his home in Marina del Rey, California, his wife Fatima told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday.

    A cause of death was not announced, but Fatima said he had been battling a long illness. Todd appeared in more than 240 movies and TV shows, including 1986′s “Platoon,” 1990′s “Night of the Living Dead,” 1994′s “The Crow,” 1996′s “The Rock,” 2006′s “Hatchet,” 2009′s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” and television series “The Flash,” “The Young and the Restless” and “Homicide: Life on the Street.” He also played Worf’s brother Kurn in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” plus Alpha Hirogen in “Star Trek Voyager.”

    Fans were furious when TMZ shared a picture of parts of his body after his death. Rylan Clark took to X/Twitter to write: “And TMZ f**king shame on you. Disgrace.” Another user said: “TMZ posting part of a photo of Liam Payne’s dead body in an article announcing his death is beyond deplorable. I can’t tell if I’m losing my mind lately or if society has always been this overtly morally decrepit.”

    One user said: “No matter how you felt about liam payne, posting pictures of his dead body is f**king mental.” Singer Alessia Cara wrote: “you’re gross @TMZ.” One commented: “I know we complain about TMZ a lot but they really surprise me every time at how insensitive they can be.”

    Benji Gregory has passed away at the age of 46. Former ALF child star died in car alongside his service dog in Arizona bank parking lot due to ‘suspected heatstroke’

    Gregory’s sister Rebecca told TMZ Gregory suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and had a sleep disorder that ‘often kept him awake for days.’

    Reports ineicate that those close to him believe he went to the bank to deposit residual checks on June 12 and fell asleep in his car – dying from vehicular heatstroke.

    The Maricopa County Medical Examiner Office has not yet determined a cause of death.
