10/18/2026.. More than three decades after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, The New York Times has published a fascinating new investigation raising questions about whether O.J. Simpson may have had an accomplice.
The October 18 report examines newly unsealed court records, information from an informant considered highly reliable by authorities, and allegations involving Joseph “Joey” Ippolito Jr., a man connected to Simpson’s inner circle. One of Ippolito’s brothers reportedly claimed that his sibling was present at the crime scene, raising new questions about what actually happened that June night in 1994.
Simpson was acquitted in the criminal trial but later found liable in civil court. Both Simpson and Ippolito are now deceased, and the new allegations remain unproven. Still, it’s remarkable that more than 30 years later, one of the most heavily scrutinized murder cases in American history continues to generate new questions.
