Anyone following Artbell.com will realize that the magic of just plain font on a plain background is amazing. In our days of blogs and Twitter embeds, Art Bell has seemingly seized all attention by just giving hints, Morse code,  and letters that link to his past bumper music..

Right now there is a JavaScript code that has an ‘incoming message’ being filled.. Overnight, it increased from 55% complete to 70% complete–and message boards lit up with ideas and anticipation over what those letters and exclamation points mean..

And now early today, another larger exclamation point was added to Artbell.com linking to Maxine Nightingale’s Right Back Where we Started From. Perhaps the clearest indication that Art Bell is returning to some form of broadcasting and finally putting a stake in the heart of Coast to Coast AM, the show he created but left after Premiere Radio Networks led it astray..

Let the games begin..

And the creepy Pope story of the day..

The coat of arms of Pope Francis seems to back up the Prophecy of the Popes prediction.. Now is the Vatican just messing with us?

Holder says that the United States will not ‘kill or torture Snowden’ if Russia returns him.. And thus far, Russia isn’t budging on returning him..

This is a striking story .. unbelievable numbers.. and we all feel the fear . . 80% of United States adults face near poverty and unemployment. 80%.. That means four out of five American adults are struggling in this economy with joblessness, or the fear of it.. The Associated Press says it signals “a sign of deteriorating economic security and an elusive American dream”.. The elusive American dream..

The United Kingdom is about to place sweeping porn filters across networks as a way of reducing the ‘threat’ of porn sites–also it’s been decried as government censorship.. But while Prime Minister Cameron may lament what porn is doing to his nation, one may ask if the true intention is just to censor any content that the government doesn’t want citizens to hear.. such as conspiracy theory — and now there is information that “extremist related content,” eating disorder sites, and sites that talk about smoking and drinking will be banned as well .. you know.. mind porn. The whole idea that this is good is a toxic one no one should go down.. are there reprehensible websites online? Hell yes. But should the government block them….well..maybe some that are criminal. But we are going down a whole new path by forcing sites into the criminal blanket.. This is a very, very scary idea from Cameron–with help from web filter technology already being used in China and Australia..

Is this video proof of paranormal activity from a surveillance camera? (My opinion: NO. It’s proof that it’s the easiest stunt to perform and they did it quite well in this video.. But here is more on the background of the video: It is from Kent, England, at the Whistable Shop.. What no story seems to mention is the black looking figure on the right hand side behind the shelving unit at four seconds in. That was either the ‘entity’ or the man who was playing the prank..

And the GUARDIAN is asking it, over across the pond: What makes a good horror movie?  The article is a worthwhile read.. And it brings up some interesting questions, one being asked by the HORROR REPORT ask well of readers; what exactly makes a good horror movie, or movie in general, will always be in the eye of the beholder.. 

Anyone who has read this website since the 20th century when we began on a free Geocities page, I never liked bloody and needlessly gory flicks. I’d prefer the mentally frightening..  and the psychologically challenging..

I don’t think THE CONJURING was a game changer of a film–and the storyline is shaky when you think about the true story behind the ‘true’ story of the Perron haunting in the 1970s.. but hopefully it’s a part of a larger picture, one being altered by time and viewers who don’t want the 2000s’ torture and pointlessness anymore..

The 200teens are about storylines, characters.. and we’ve seen it all now, so we really don’t want to see more. And the less we see the scarier it is..
