    THE END IS THE BEGINNING IS THE END.

    There was once a simpler time.. there was once a more peaceful landscape .. 2016 is ending as chaotic as it began.. The year has proposed a valuable set of dilemmas for the human population.. so many took offense to things that seemed to occur in the last 12 months of the calendar that I lost count.

    But it ends tonight.
    And begins as well.

    For as much as a new years eve ends something, the midnight hour begins anew.. It begins with a certain sense of freshness.. a great deal of zeal .. Hope and love..
    Auld Lang Syne..

    Plus that, occasional bad decisions thanks to a complete set of alcoholic specials at the local or fine dining watering hole of your choice. Or your demise.

    So try something different this new year.. Try something special.

    Make a resolution that you can keep.
    Keep a resolution that you made..
    And don’t make too many. It puts unneeded pressure on your soul.
    But in the end, when the next twelve months slip by like the sands of time, you’ll find yourself in potentially new shoes.. Or the same ones. Your situation may find itself completely unresolved. Or maybe that miracle cure is coming.
    Regardless of where December 31 2017 ends for you, let it be a year of constant new beginnings. Each day should be an adventure.

    Perhaps I will re-read this post a few times throughout the year. I often find myself glazing over with doldrums and life, itself, often hits like a brutal war zone battle.

    I need to re-read it..
    I need to live a bit different myself this year.

    I need to make the type of resolution that even I could keep.

    The Twilight Zone marathon will be serving up frights continuously from Dec. 31-Jan. 2…. SYFY channel in case you’re interested.
    And yes, I know about ‘on demand’ and Netflix and boxed sets on BluRay. But there is just something special about watching something on TV, knowing others across the nation are watching the same exact thing as you at the same exact time.. something very communal about it..
    And I just love the fact it’s the Twilight Zone..

    Filmmakers are tapping advances in digital technology to resurrect characters after a performer dies, most notably in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The film, in theaters now, features the return of Grand Moff Tarkin, originally played by a long-dead actor.


    The trend has sent Hollywood actors in the here-and-now scrambling to exert control over how their characters and images are portrayed in the hereafter.
    “Celebrities are increasingly involved in making plans to protect their intellectual property rights,” said Mark Roesler, an attorney and chairman of CMG Worldwide, an agency representing celebrity estates. “They understand that their legacy will continue beyond their lifetime.”

    This is going to be the newest trend in movies.. Expect old stars to come back. Be kind.. rewind.. go back.. the past is coming to the future.
    I will say this: Grand Moff Tarkin, live in living color on the big screen, was as creepy as could be. The digital enhancement was evident.. But somehow it was flawless. The final scene with Carrie Fisher–may God rest her beautiful soul–was equally clumsy as much as it was breathtaking to see..
    We are in the beginning of a new age of digital amazement.. The most amazing part may be the fact that stars we loved during their prime will be suddenly in their prime again.

    But … is it creepy/ Is it weird?
    I sort of think so.

    However, it’s all eventual. 

    In a few movies and TV shows it will be as normal as a robot taking your manufacturing job.
    Welcome to the future.
    Sit back and grab the popcorn.

    Carrie Fisher has perished from the heart attack that befell her on a plane before Christmas ..
    A weak heart.. but a strong human.

    DEVELOPING STORY..

    Actress Carrie Fisher suffered a medical emergency aboard a flight Friday afternoon and her condition remains unclear.

    Her brother, Todd Fisher, told the AP that she was “out of emergency” and stabilized at a Los Angeles hospital Friday afternoon. He said he could not discuss any other details about what happened.

    But both the LA Times and TMZ say Fisher is still in critical condition. A local ABC affiliate reports she is still “on a ventilator.”..

    DRAMATIC AUDIO HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM THE PLANE..

    Actress Anna Akana was on board the flight when Fisher went into medical distress and she described the upsetting scene in a series of tweets.

    She said Fisher stopped breathing and was helped by a doctor and nurse who happened to be on board.

    A United Airlines spokesperson said: “Medical personnel met United flight 935 from London to Los Angeles upon arrival today after the crew reported that a passenger was unresponsive.

    “Our thoughts are with our customer at this time and any requests for additional information should be directed to local authorities.”

    Akana, 27, wrote: “Don’t know how else to process this but Carrie Fisher stopped breathing on the flight home. Hope she’s gonna be OK.

    “So many thanks to the United flight crew who jumped into action, and the awesome doctor and nurse passengers who helped.”

    Akana wrote that Fisher wasn’t breathing “for 10 minutes or so” and CPR was administered until the plane landed.

    ANKARA (Reuters) – The gunman who shot the Russian ambassador to Turkey in an attack at an art gallery on Monday was an off-duty police officer who worked in the Turkish capital, two security sources told Reuters.

    Russia’s foreign ministry earlier confirmed that the ambassador, Andrey Karlov, had died in the attack. Turkish state media earlier reported that the gunman had been “neutralised” following the attack.

    …..these little events…and big ramifications. It’s the kind of stuff world wars are made of..

    The big day arrived.. MArio Run was able to be downloaded to play on iphones..

    And almost immediately as millions of downloads occurred, a collective groan about just how boring a game it actually was.. the hype told us it would be like Pokemon Go.. instead we were left with a couch potato game that could be completed entirely in three hours. Not much more than that, despite the commercials falsely advertising a highly interactive game in public..

    Mario Run.. Done.

    And now stocks are responding in kind..

    As a matter of fact, Nintendo’s stocks are down 11% since the Mario Run game became available! 

    Meanwhile in the APP store, where fortunes are made and flappy birds are craved, users who downloaded the Mario game gave it a mere two and a half stars or of five.. Very bad news for the game, which by the way also costs $10.

    One critisicm almost coming from insiders: The fact Nintendo charged the full fee for the game up front instead of multiple smaller ones and users get further..

    Despite the amount of the initial fee or smaller ones, the fact remains: Mario Run is a completely uneventful and unimaginative game that seemingly borrowed none of the best traits of the original games. So much could have been done, virtual reality wise and Pokemon Go style… But instead a lazy way out was made.

    And terrible reviews and a stock slide have developed..

    And if it is any consolation it the NIntendo stock, DeNa, the company that helped made the game, had a stock drop of 14%…
