Singing Sick em on a Chicken while hell opens

Zac Brown just found himself in the middle of a very 2025 kind of controversy. His new Love & Fear show at the Las Vegas Sphere opens with fire-and-brimstone visuals, a descent-into-Hell sequence, and Brown onstage in imagery some viewers swear looks “demonic” or “satanic.”

    Country fans shocked and stunned..

It is reported that the whole thing is meant to be a personal, cinematic journey through the darker and lighter corners of his life, but clips started circulating online with people calling it a “satanic ritual” before the first weekend was even over. Brown has said the show is about pain, redemption, and resilience, but the internet heard “Hell visuals” and ran with it.

The backdrop to all of this is the Sphere itself, which is basically a giant sci-fi eyeball dropped next to the Strip. It’s a 366-foot-tall, 516-foot-wide dome covered in LEDs on the outside and lined with a 16K-resolution wraparound screen and 160,000 speakers on the inside, built specifically to melt people’s senses with immersive art and sound. It can turn into a moon, an eyeball, a planet, a lava ball—whatever the artist wants—and inside, the screen stretches over and around the audience so the visuals feel less like “stage background” and more like being dropped into a movie.

Once the Zac Brown clips hit social media, reactions split instantly. Some country fans thought it was the coolest thing he’s ever done, praising the high-concept story and calling it his most ambitious project. Others, especially folks looking at it through a religious lens, saw the Hellscapes, angels, and cosmic chaos and declared it proof that mainstream concerts have gone fully “demonic.” At the same time, the controversy has done what controversy always does: boosted curiosity, headlines, and—by all early accounts—ticket demand for the Love & Fear dates.

This is still the Zac Brown Band we’re talking about—the same crew with songs like “Sic ’Em on a Chicken” in their catalog. So picture it: people online saying there’s a portal to Hell open in Las Vegas while thousands of fans inside the Sphere are singing along to a band best known for chicken, toes in the water, and island drinks. That’s the irony of modern outrage culture in one scene, golks convinced they’re witnessing a satanic ceremony..

Country has sure gone to hell indeed..

  • Ozzy Osbourne’s last show on earth

Ozzy Osbourne’s last show on earth

It was the ultimate farewell, not just to the stage, but perhaps to us, the fans, who have followed him through decades of darkness, madness, and heavy metal glory.

On an emotional night in Birmingham, Ozzy Osbourne performed with Black Sabbath for what is now confirmed to be the final time ever.

This wasn’t just a concert. It was a memorial in real time and not for someone who has passed, but for a living legend whose health struggles are slowly dimming the spotlight around him. In his late 70s and facing advanced Parkinson’s disease, Ozzy appeared on stage seated on what looked like a gothic throne. Some speculate it may have actually been a disguised wheelchair — a stark reminder of his frailty, and the toll life has taken on the Prince of Darkness.

But make no mistake: the fire is still there. Joined by his iconic bandmates, Ozzy delivered five unforgettable songs .. it was not with the same erratic and chaotic energy of his youth, but with the weight of a man who knew exactly what this night meant.

There were appearances by Dolly Parton, Axl Rose, Metallica, and even Ricky Gervais. It was a surreal, star-studded celebration of a man who defied death more than once and shaped the very DNA of rock music.

Yet it was the haunting performance of “Mama, I’m Coming Home” that seemed to seal the night’s fate. The lyrics, sung with quivering power, felt less like a song and more like a goodbye — not just to his career, but to this world. The atmosphere shifted. The crowd knew. This was it.

There were no bats, no theatrics. Just Ozzy. Real. Vulnerable. Human.

The man who once howled at the moon gave us a final howl of truth .. one that seemed to say: I’m still here… but not for long.

    The show is over.
    The curtain has closed.

John Oliver delves into the interesting topics of concert ticket prices

And if you don’t think that you’ll be interested in the topic, just give the video a minute or two and you’ll become intrigued ..

We learned quite a bit from this, including the fact that Justin Bieber and other artists have often bought up entire rows if not sections of concert venues.

We learned that when news media Talking Heads jokingly laugh that it takes longer to put lipgloss on that it does for a concert to be sold out, often times Ticketmaster does not release the full number of tickets for that venue but instead only sometimes a few thousand.

You’re being head faked and played.

We learned that despite technology and an insurance from Ticketmaster that fans come first, computer bots can buy up tickets within milliseconds and, many scalppers and un known people have up to 200+ accounts to purchase tickets immediately and resell them.

The summer concert season is here again, this time the media tells us without Covid ( except the Covid still exists).. and with prices of tickets, the autumn bankruptcy season will also begin in earnest.

Henri cuts short COVID concert in NYC during Barry Manilow song

New York City‘s Central Park was canceled because of dangerous weather as Hurricane Henri approached the Northeast on Saturday.

The venue was billed as a vaccinated party in the USA celebrating the defeat of COVID.. Planned in advance, the timing seemed to be curious now that astronomical case counts are being realized again.

Also with Delta rampant, some questioned if it should even happy to begin with.

Planners fought through the controversy, but had another issue: Hurricane Henri..

    SEEK SHELTER

Barry Manilow began performing “Can’t Smile Without You,” as part of a medley of his hits when the announcement interrupted his performance, ordering concertgoers to immediately leave the park and seek shelter. The singer continued on, not realizing at first what was happening.

Organizers repeated over a public address for concertgoers to “calmly move to the nearest exits and proceed to areas outside of the park.”

CNN was among those who heavily hyped this event.

The event, which was aired exclusively on CNN, was produced by music executive Clive Davis in coordination with the city of New York and Live Nation. The coverage began with a preshow hosted by Anderson Cooper at 4 p.m. ET, with the concert kicking off at 5 p.m.

And the show came to a screeching halt due to a hurricane..

20 YEARS AFTER LOSS OF AALIYAH, HER MUSIC IS STREAMING

Friday marked the re-release of five time Grammy-nominated superstar’s studio album, “One In A Million,” which hit streaming services.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton died August 25, 2001 at the age of 22 in a plane crash that also took the lives of eight others as they traveled back from filming her music video in the Caribbean.

Fans have long complained about the lack of availability of her music.

Her catalog is now being re-released for the first time in years to be available across streaming platforms via partnership with Blackground Records 2.0 and EMPIRE.

However this is also happening as the battle of her estate continues! It was reported just days ago that the original Blackground Records, which released a majority of Aaliyah’s music, was owned by the late singer’s uncle and former manager, Barry Hankerson.

“Protecting Aaliyah’s legacy is, and will always be, our focus,” reads a recent post from the estate’s verified Twitter account…

After his 1994 death, some thought a conspiracy existed..

Now newly released FBI files this weekend showcase what the Bureau did to investigate..

    MORE..

“I only wish to receive justice for and others who loved this man as much as I did. This man was Kurt Cobain, belonging to a band called Nirvana, and it was origanally [sic] thought and still accepted as the truth that he committed suicide,” one person wrote to the FBI in 2007. “There has since been evidence found that he was killed and didn’t commit suicide as originally thought.”

The letter was among 10 pages released without fanfare or notice by the FBI to “The Vault,” an online archive. Cobain committed suicide in April 1994, leaving behind wife Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean.

Another: A fan urged the FBI to take the case claiming the idea Cobain had been murdered “bothers me the most because his killer is still out there.”

The file also contains pages from a 1997 fax from a production company which oversees the television series “Unsolved Mysteries,” said Rolling Stone, which first reported the file had been made public…

Billie Eilish hits: Sexual exploitation of minors

Billie Eilish appearing in the newest issue of British VOGUE, commenting on society and sexual exploitation of minors..

“[The song is] really not about one person. You might think, ‘it’s because she’s in the music industry’, no dude. It’s everywhere,” she says. “I don’t know one girl or woman who hasn’t had a weird experience or a really bad experience. And men too – young boys are taken advantage of constantly.”

Eilish looked different than normal.. minus the baggy clothes, minus the sweats. This time, she sports a custom Gucci corset and skirt with an Agent Provocateur bra, accessorised with latex gloves. The magazine says it was Eilish’s idea..

“Showing your body and showing your skin – or not – should not take away any respect from you,” she said. “It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, fuck it. If you feel like you look good, you look good.”
