    Cutting down the Happy Trees

A new Netflix documentary said to hit August 25 pretends to show a darker life in the forest, as the happy trees get knocked down. The doc will focus on the life of Bob Ross, and while the trailer and the network offer a very little clues as to the subject matter, pretends to portray a “darker” backstory to the famous painter..

The documentary will likely explore the fate of Bob Ross, Inc., which is now run by the daughter of Annette and Walt Kowalski, Ross’ former business partners, according to The Daily Beast.

Although Ross left the rights to his name and likeness to his son Steve and half-brother Jimmie Cox, the Kowalskis argued that everything Ross did in his career was work-for-hire, and he had no right to bequeath that.

The Kowalskis eventually won the lawsuit..

Although the trailer doesn’t offer any other clues, Netflix’s description of the documentary reads: “Bob Ross brought joy to millions as the world’s most famous art instructor. But a battle for his business empire cast a shadow over his happy trees.”

There have been some monumentally huge journalistic reports over the past 10 years on the infighting post death. Ross died back in the 1990s of lymphoma at 52. His legend however has lived on forever because of PBS painting shows that aired through the early 2000s, and a resurgence of pop cultural memorabilia and products that generation Z has eaten up because of an addiction to anything ASMR..

Will this documentary ruin it all?

The joy of painting will continue for me..

It’s my own products to prove it:

  • Will Adam get woke?

    Will Adam get woke?

….the first episode may be a throwback nostalgia filled gasp-worthy event. Kevin Smith undoubtedly will homage the fans from the 1980s who keep the spirit of Eternia alive.

But what if the show goes woke?

    Will Tea-La secure a girlfriend?
Will He-Man’s toxic masculinity cause him to rage?
Will Skeletor be nice on Christmas like during the 80s holiday special?

We are being told that the characters in the new Netflix cartoons premiering July 23 will face certain crises and as they unfold, adult dialogue will greet our favorite action figures from the cartoon..

Clownfish is among the YouTube channels lamenting the chances that the new cartoon will go all in on modern virtue signaling, and forget the fans who grew up watching cartoon..

Their video here for your enjoyment:

    Could they be right!

But there could also be a certain amount of hype about this possibility. Cartoons modernize.. they change with times.

We will keep our minds open that this show may be exactly what we hoped for. Or at least enough of what we hoped for that the modern changes can get a pass.

    We hope!

The letter was among 10 pages released without fanfare or notice by the FBI to “The Vault,” an online archive. Cobain committed suicide in April 1994, leaving behind wife Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean.

  • MUSK SEE TV: Elon Musk delivers in SNL

MUSK SEE TV: Elon Musk delivers in SNL

Perhaps it will be the dogecoiners that bring in big ratings, but undoubtedly there will have been a number of new viewers of SNL last night thanks to Elon Musk hosting..

He delivered a self deprecating monologue ..

Musk began by thanking the audience and saying what an “honor” it was to be hosting SNL.

“I mean that,” he quipped, making fun of his own voice. “Sometimes after I say something I have to say ‘I mean that.’ So people really know that I mean it already, that’s because I don’t always have a lot of intonation or variation in how I speak — which I’m told makes for great comedy.”

“I’m actually making history tonight as the first person with Asperger’s to host SNL — or at least the first to admit it,” Musk continued, publicly mentioning that he has the condition for the first time. “So I won’t make a lot of eye contact with the cast tonight. But don’t worry, I’m pretty good at running ‘Human’ in emulation mode.”

“Look, I know I sometimes say or post strange things but that’s just how my brain works,” Musk explained. “To anyone I’ve offended, I just want to say, I reinvented electric cars, and I’m sending people to Mars on a rocket ship — Did you think I was also going to be a chill, normal dude?”

He brought up how people were often “reduced to the dumbest thing they ever did,” which, for him, was smoking weed on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

“And now all I hear all the time is, ‘Elon Musk, all he ever does is smoke weed on podcasts.’ Like I go from podcast to podcast lighting up joints. It happened once. It’s like reducing O.J. Simpson to ‘Murderer.’ It happened one time!”

“Fun fact,” Musk continued. “O.J. Also hosted this show in ’79. And again in ’96. Killed both times.”

However not all were fans including some in the media who called the show mediocre and boring.

Maybe they haven’t noticed the rest of the season being in that category…..
