Nestlé CEO On Bottling Water In California: ‘If I Could Increase It, I Would’
You probably heard that there’s a drought in California.
You might have heard that food and beverage mega-corporation Nestlé (as well as lots of other companies) is bottling water in the drought in California.
This is not Nestlé’s fault. This is your fault.
The article goes on to explain:
This is not Nestlé’s fault. This is your fault.
At least, that’s what Nestlé International Waters’ CEO seemed to be saying in an interview with Southern California Public Radio this week.
“If I stop bottling water tomorrow, people would buy another brand of bottled water,” Tim Brown said. “It’s driven by consumer demand, it’s driven by an on-the-go society that needs to hydrate.”
Nestlé came under attack last month, when it was revealed that the company has been bottling water from the San Bernardino National Forest under an expired permit for the past 25 years. The company has repeatedly said that its expired permit with the National Forest Service remains in good standing.
“We feel good about what we’re doing,” Brown said. “In fact, if I could increase it, I would.”
The interview was part of what seems like a bigger push by Nestlé against the idea that its business practices are related to California’s drought.
This is going to become an increasingly tough position for Nestle to maintain.. as the drought intensifies more *it is* and the circumstances become more dre *they are* Nestle may have some trouble being able to defend their business model..
I think in our modern age, it may be time to accept tap water. With a filer. And a FLUORIDE FILTER is you can get one. If you have well water, test it. If it’s not good enough to drink go with public water (FILTERED and fluoride filtered) ..
There are solutions that are safe… and plastic free.

New Map indicates the ‘Most Distinctive’ Causes of Death in Your State
New Map indicates the ‘Most Distinctive’ Causes of Death in Your State
It sure is a deadly nation.. Showcased by this link which will take you to the most common causes of death, in a state by state in a factual way..
Here in my state of Pennsylvania, where coal still maintains at least a half king crown, lung diseases are the leader. The filth in the air and pollutants that are in the lungs take a heavy toll in the Keystone state..
The takeaway is interesting, with some predictable conclusions and also a surprise from the Garden State.
From the report:
According to Francis Boscoe, a research scientist at New York State Cancer Registry the most distinctive causes of death in majority of cases is not so surprising. In several northern states, including Maine, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming the flu is considered as the most distinctive cause of death. In Alaska and Idaho the most distinctive causes of death is considered to be plane crashes or boat accidents. In mining states such as Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky pneumoconiosis, a group of lung diseases caused by inhaling dusts, are branded as the most distinctive causes of death.
There were however, some unexpected findings. In New Jersey, Sepsis is categorized as the most distinctive cause of death and deaths by legal intervention. Surprisingly the most distinctive cause of death in New Mexico, Nevada and Oregon is that caused by law enforcement officers, excluding legal executions.
A deadly nation indeed.
With that in mind, it’s a Saturday night.
Party hard and be careful out there. -

Norm Mcdonald with tear jerking performance on David Letterman
He performed stand up buy also gave a moving tribute to David Letterman as he voyages off television..
Many years ago, I actually believed that Macdonald would have been a strong contender for a light night show host. Time has proven that prediction to be flawed in nature.
We are about to see something in television thst we haven’t seen since Johnny Carson left thr Tonight Show. And quite frankly we may never see such an event on TEE VEE again.
Get ready for history…

Feds Say That Banned Researcher Commandeered a Plane
Feds Say That Banned Researcher Commandeered a Plane
The main part to know:
Chris Roberts, a security researcher with One World Labs, told the FBI agent during an interview in February that he had hacked the in-flight entertainment system, or IFE, on an airplane and overwrote code on the plane’s Thrust Management Computer while aboard the flight. He was able to issue a climb command and make the plane briefly change course, the document states…
That would seem to be a pretty big 7.. and a turning point in the dangers aviation is about to be hit with…

Keep your newsfeeds well fed. Give your Galaxy S6 the largest, most reliable 4GLTE network: Verizon.
Art by Sandy Noto
THATS SO CREEPY LOOK AT THE HAND HOLDING THE PHONE!!! WTF ?!?!?!?!?!?!
Verizon is using this picture on its TUMBLR site to drive traffic to its main page, sell products, and just be ‘hip and cool’ like all of the other Tumblr folk.. But take a look at the GIF they created.. maybe someone should do better with this. The hand is clearly moving OFF of the arm while she scrolls her phone.. It looks less like a phone ad and more like a horror movie GIF, I expect the hand of a zombie to raise out from the grass in front of our wired and newspapered couple at any time..

This TIME magazine cover in 2012 depicts Mohamed Morsi.. editors chose his mug and said he is the most important man in the Middle East..
Today Morsi, an ousted president of Egypt, is in the news again..
An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced ousted President Mohammed Morsi to death over his part in a mass prison break that took place during the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.
As is customary in passing capital punishment, Judge Shaaban el-Shami referred his death sentence on Morsi and others to the nation’s top Muslim theologian, or mufti, for his non-binding opinion. He set June 2 for the next hearing.
And so it goes..
As history changes..
Rising stars collapses..
Arab springs turn to winter..
And violence flares across the land.
