What seems evident is that the marriage or relationship of the main characters in the ad was falling apart.
The heat was a metaphor for their connection. The implication was that Sears was so powerful it would be able to provide the materials to save their relationship.
And all these years later I can still recite the dialogue like I just heard it. But yet all these years I didn’t even remember I remembered it.
The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was set up in July and is responsible for not only tracking unidentified objects in the sky, but also underwater or in space — or potentially an object that has the ability to move from one domain to the next.
So far, “we have not seen anything, and we’re still very early on, that would lead us to believe that any of the objects that we have seen are of alien origin,” said Ronald Moultrie, under secretary of defense for intelligence and security. “Any unauthorized system in our airspace we deem as a threat to safety.”
Projections were between $150M-$175M. That’s far off from the opening day of last December’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is the second- highest grossing opening day ever at $121.9M, as well as that pic’s opening weekend at $260.1M, which is also the second-highest ever.

The whole France squad attended a training session on the eve of Sunday’s World Cup final against Argentina after a virus sidelined a number of players this week.
Coach Didier Deschamps said earlier Saturday the team were taking action to stop the spread of illness, which has affected a number of players.
Central defensive pair Raphael Varane and Ibrahima Konate missed training on Friday, along with winger Kingsley Coman, while midfielder Adrien Rabiot and defender Dayot Upamecano did not play in Wednesday’s semi-final win over Morocco.
North Korea fired two ballistic missiles towards the sea off the Korean Peninsula’s east coast on Sunday, South Korea’s military said.
Japan’s Vice Defence Minister Toshiro Ino said the North Korean-fired ballistic missiles seemed to have landed outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
The missiles flew to an altitude of 550 kilometers (342 miles) and covered a range of 250 kilometers (53 miles), according to the Japanese Defence Ministry.
Ino said there had been no report of damage from the missiles so far.
You may not have asked for it, but they’re giving it to you anyway. Scream six, it’s coming in March 2023. And now you can see an official trailer showcasing the oddities of New York City subway travel mixed with a cycle serial killer.

This generation may not have experienced Friday the 13th. Part 8 Jason takes Manhattan in theaters. But, now you might be able to again anyway with this movie. Sure the plot will be different, but the kill sequences will be presumably bloody as promised. The aura around the film seems to have a good comparison to when Jason took that boat ride from camp Crystal Lake to the Big Apple in the late 80s.
And quite frankly, after watching this trailer, the appearance of Jenna Ortega reminded us more not of Scream movies, but of her amazing performance in the Addams family Netflix series. Perhaps we will go back and watch that again, and just leave our anticipation about this movie for another time.

We offer up our happy birthday to Bob. He’s been instrumental in a lot of lives.
For countless kids who have since come of age, he was the epitome of both summer vacation mornings and sick days during the school year. He got us through a lot. And yes, he was embroiled in his share of scandal and intrigue as well, just as anyone from the 20th century can brag of..
And now newer folks are finding him thanks for best of clips on YouTube and TikTok..
Well Bah Humbug to your Fortnite bucks you wanted for Christmas, kids.. parents just became a bunch of Devourers..
Here is the story for your quick review:
A lawsuit has been filed in Canada by parents who say their kids are addicted to the video game Fortnite.
A Canadian Supreme Court judge authorized the filing by Quebec parents against Fortnite’s manufacturer Epic Games.
Also mentioned in the run-up to the lawsuit: Parents say their kids are so addicted that they don’t take care of regular everyday hygiene such as showering. Some kids are so dependent on Fortnite, they’ve stopped eating and sleeping..
Immediately people took to the SOCIALS to give their own opinion..
Parents seem to be crankin’ 90s but others are wondering if they just were not doing their jobs. A lawsuit being filed against a game because the parents could not get their own kids to shower and eat?
So we will refrain from judgement.. we don’t want to get into a heal-off with anyone.. after all, there are times that lawsuits get a bad rap but have merit.
Remember the McDonalds hot coffee litigation in the 1990s? People mocked it terribly but in the end the woman who was injured suffered really horrific burns that necessitated harsh treatment and skin grafts..
“The court concludes that there is a serious issue to be argued, supported by sufficient and specific allegations as to the existence of risks or even dangers arising from the use of Fortnite,” ruled Justice Sylvain Lussier.
An attorney from the firm that brought the suit equated the game’s maker, Epic Games, to a tobacco manufacturer in an interview, and said the legal responsibility was “basically the same.”
Lussier echoed the comparison of video game and tobacco addictions. “The harmful effect of tobacco was not recognized or admitted overnight,” he ruled.
So comparing Fortnite to tobacco use.. Health of the body and brain being debated.
Any parents who have kids who play the game–or kids reading this or even parents who play–know that certain addictive quality not only to Fortnite but countless other games that are optioned off as “free.” It’s the devil in the details that makes you need the meds.
The Canadian court did not completely agree with the parents’ claim that Epic Games deliberately made Fortnite addictive. “The court finds that there is no evidence for these allegations of the deliberate creation of an addictive game,” the judge wrote. “This does not exclude the possibility that the game is in fact addictive and that its designer and distributor are presumed to know it.”
So the question remains: What will happen next. Will Epic cave and settle? Will parents take it to the limit.. will kids suddenly have their game vaulted for Christmas?
