Portable nuclear device missing from stolen vehicle in Pennsylvania

The nuclear density gauge belonging to KAKS and Company LLC was safely stored inside a vehicle reported stolen in the city of Philadelphia, the agency said in a press release Friday. When the car was found, the gauge was missing.

If the device’s sealed sources of radioactive material are badly damaged or struck by a vehicle, “there is potential for damage to the radioactive source and spread of contamination,” according to the agency.

“It is critical for anyone who has information about the lost nuclear gauge to contact local authorities or DEP,” David Allard, director of the Bureau of Radiation Protection, said in a statement. “As long as the device is not tampered with or damaged, it presents no hazard to public safety.”

The DNA is in: Mystery PA animal was a coyote

Just a plain boring old coyote..

You may recall several weeks ago: A mystery animal was found in Pennsylvania and then it escaped just as fast into the midstate woods..

Monday, officials at Wildlife Works Inc. said their DNA sample came back 100 percent coyote.

    Move on…

  • Monkeys on Main Street

    Monkeys on Main Street

The past several days have been a wild ride for the residents of Danville Pennsylvania.

This website calls northeastern Pennsylvania home, so we can give some first-hand knowledge..

About a week ago there was a crash involving a truck that slammed into a box truck right off of interstate 80 in Danville Pennsylvania. That stretch of highway is synonymous with collisions but this one was so strange it made some international news.

From the information provided from various news sources, a truck loaded with over 100 monkeys was struck by a pick up truck. The collision caused several monkeys to be spread throughout the road, still in cages. Three monkeys escaped and for a brief time were in the woods surrounding Danville PA and eventually captured..

    All were subsequently euthanized.

Michele Fallon was a witness to the crash, and got out of her car and went to make sure the driver was OK. Noticing the cages, she asked the driver what was been transported and he said that the cages had cats in them. She looked down and one cage and saw monkeys .. one hissed at her.

The entire spectacle created days of Memes across the Internet, with locals making light of the situation. It was not until Fallon published copies of letters on her Facebook page that she received from health officials when people got more serious.

Apparently the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the CDC both had officials on site along with other law enforcement . In the immediate aftermath police told residents to stay away from the monkeys.. after coming in contact with the animals, Fallon was told that if she had any “symptoms“ within 31 days to check herself into a hospital.

She did that when she developed both pink eye and cold like symptoms within 48 hours of her exposure to the monkeys and their feces. She also reported she had an open cut when she was exposed.

Along with that, there were opposing stories as to where the monkeys were from and going. Initially, the CDC said they were going to a “an approved CDC facility“. that facility was supposedly in Florida, but some curious folk wondered why the truck then was on an interstate that didn’t go to Florida.

The next piece of information that was released was that the truck was actually going to Missouri. The map shows that there is a straight route from Pennsylvania to Missouri. Interstate 80.

Michele Fallon unfortunately made international news with this entire ordeal.

She was publicly discussing what occurred.. within hours she was the subject of ridicule from some, mockery from some, and others saying that she was completely making up her story just to get 15 minutes of fame.

More alternative websites actually stated that she was part of the vast government conspiracy to spread the next pandemic.

But there are some interesting points yet to be answered and, probably never will be in the public realm.

For example, is this normal standard operating procedure for the CDC to fly monkeys from Africa to New York City and then transfer them on rickshaw trucks that are barely held together in crates that are really not marked as biohazards?

Why did the driver tell Fallon that he was carrying cats? Why did the health officials immediately tell people not to approach the monkeys. Why were not only the three monkeys captured but also the rest of the 100 euthanized immediately?

All of this sloppy work taking place during a pandemic! You would think people would learn with what we are going through now?

At this point it would seem that the story will diminish in the coming days, and hopefully Fallon will feel better and whatever she was exposed to will not provide too much danger for her, family, friends, or the community.

The last thing that we want to see is Dustin Hoffman arriving in a space suit because of an outbreak started by monkeys. We’ve seen that story before..

But let’s get real: monkeys were flown from Africa they had, apparently, a disease, placed into a dilapidated truck and transferred across the United States, and in doing so the truck crashed and caused monkeys to escape on the town. It possibly made at least one person sick.

But there’s nothing to see her folks, just Move On…..

    Just make memes ..

Monkeys in the loose in Pennsylvania town!

Various media in northeastern Pennsylvania reporting: Monkeys are in the loose in Danville!

According to State Police, a truck carrying 100 monkeys collided with a dump truck along Route 54 just off Interstate 80 near Danville PA..

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Troopers confirmed for media that that four of those monkeys escaped

They are now believed to be on the loose somewhere in the Danville area.

Late Friday night police were able to catch at least one and take a photo of it that was released on social media:

Well some have made light of the situation others lament the fact that these monkeys were on the way to be studies in a lab. There’s no official confirmation as to whether the animals were going to be studied for medical purposes or experimented on for beauty products. Both of those likelihood is exist however.

In the meantime, some are saddened by the chances of these animals freezing in the bitter cold winter air of northeastern Pennsylvania. Temperatures tonight are hovering around 11° as police search for the remaining escaped monkeys.

LIES OUR PRODUCTS TELL US: The weird notes being found in grocery store packaging in Pennsylvania continues

THIS POST IS BORROWED FROM MY OTHER LOCAL WEBSITE, COALSPEAKER.COM

As the Covid-19 pandemic began earlier this year, a strange note was circulating within the packages of grocery store products in various towns across Eastern Pennsylvania. We reported on this in April. After publication, several messages were sent to Coal Speaker indicating that locations as far as Ohio and Maryland were also receiving the messages in boxes.

In June, the Coal Region Canary followed up with an article about the topic, including the note being fiubnd in baby products and cake mix.

    THE SEASON OF THE NOTE

As Halloween approaches, the season of the witch is seeing another spike incidences of the weird note.

We spoke to a reader this morning, Angel, who recently purchased a box of Live Gfree Gluten Free chocolate chip cookies at Aldi’s in Coal Township.

The box was sealed shut, but tucked under was a little cardboard piece with folded paper. Angel said the paper fell to the floor, and as she was eating her first cookie (not sure of how tasty vs dry they were) she recalled putting a load of laundry in, she stopped quickly, “And thought…. wait what fell out of that box. It almost looked like instructions.”

The following photos were sent to us by Angel. The first picture showcases the little piece of cardboard that the note was on, most likely making slipping it into the package much easier. The second image shows the folded note that she mistakingly thought were instructions.

And finally, here is the note itself:

TO TRANSCRIBE OR TO TRANSCRIBE: THAT IS THE QUESTION

Now.. back in April, we racked and wrecked our brains by transcribing the note. It was painful. And that is precisely why we know this note is different than the first! WE have firsthand experience being slightly ruined for an hour afterwards from the first..

We will work on a transcription of this note.. but just keep in mind, this is very different. Perhaps even updated..

The original note we reported on in April ended this way:

SS breed corrup’n locally to int’ly. Drugs/media/univs./pub.ed/i’net…r tools of control.

    This new note ends

    “Facuci/Opa’/Cuomo/Shaq/Popes.local leadrs siugn. Color’d symb/letr/dot (Lgbt/Purina/Npr/Aim); Ems/W-M’s aserisk; bird/wing (Nra/Nbc/Chrystl’r); star in rg/disk (U.S.A.F.); police/Jew’s stars; + rg/fire (KKK) TORCH; Vat’s Knights of Malta + (KKK-MIL-VFW-royals); Skull-Bonz/”X.” 2 rule again, DK need disarm’s/track’d/’distanced’ pop’ns.

Clearly the note has been updated for 2020..

    DEVELOPING..

Wave 1 finally hits a Pennsylvania nursing home

As schools, nursing facilities, and the public itself is getting mentally braced for what experts say could be ‘wave 2’ of COVID-19, one Pennsylvania nursing home is tragically dealing with wave 1..

To date, the Milton Nursing home in Milton PA was coronavirus clear.. No deaths occurred even during the most trying weeks in the late winter and early spring of this year.

But just within the past day, this information has been released:

Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Northumberland County (as of 08/18/20):

    93 total residents.
73 residents have been infected with COVID-19
36 staff members have been infected with COVID-19
13 residents have died from COVID-19

There were just 0 deaths from COVID days ago.

The virus seemingly has rampaging through the home with a thunderous and deadly zeal.
