    UPDATED: MH370 COVERAGE AND LINKS

Vietnam’s media reporting that its Navy says flight MH370 has crashed into the ocean…

UPDATE: FAMILIES EXPECTING THE WORST NEWS.. FRUSTRATION GROWING OVER THE LENGTH OF TIME IT IS TAKING TO GAIN USEFUL INFORMATION FROM THE GOVERNMENT..

VIETNAMESE AIRCRAFT HAVE SPOTTED LIQUID AND ‘RUBBISH’ ON THE SURFACE OF WATER OVERLAPPING MALAYSIA AND VIETNAM.. That report is appearing on CNN.
But at this point we only know this: The plane vanished from radar and all this time later, we still don’t know where it is or what happened to it.

There’s information countering the CNN report of liquid and rubbish. A very recent report from Malaysia airlines said that search and rescue teams have failed to find any evidence of a crashed plane.. CNN further added that it was ‘too early’ to tell if the debris was from the plane.

CNN showing oil.. is this from the missing plane?

There is precedent for a jetliner going missing. But it’s still weird. »

    Interesting story..
This is a very troubling situation—and mysterious. A plane vanishing from radar and now, with stolen passports becoming an issue, the question is being asked: Accident or purposeful?
At one point, this whole story reminded me of the plot of LOST.
Albeit the story may have more of a closure than the show LOST did, it still remains bizarre that a plane could vanish from site..
There are oil slicks being studied—but oil without wreckage. Odd again.
Still watching as the story evolves.. But so far it’s been chilling.

  • Friday night LIGHTS OFF

    Friday night LIGHTS OFF

Breaking news is bad on Friday nights..
Reporters are most likely toasting their careers at a watering house somewhere on the wild streets of LA, New York City, or the houses of evil worship in D.C.

    Mean while news breaks.
CNN went live–for a minute.. Then they showed a pre-taped Pistorius special. Now we know all we need to about Blade Runner.
CNN switched to Anthony’s PARTS UNKNOWN at 11. That’s important.

FOX went political.. very political. Hannity told us why conservatives will win. It was a rerun.

On MSNBC? As usual, they are showing years’ old programs about prisoners in their unnatural habitat.

And that’s how the BIG three covered the big event of a flight going missing over Vietnam.

Luckily Twitter is burning the midnight oil, tweeting with ferocity from around the world. 99% of the re-tweets are most likely rumor and falsehoods.. but by God at least there’s somewhere to turn for people who crave information–information that matters.

Note to breaking news: Stick to Monday through Thursdays. You’ll never get adequate attention on a Friday night.

    BUT…
There’s hope that real reporters still exist. Without makeup.. frantic.. and newshounds. Unlike any talking head you see on the big cable nets.

The list of passengers on board flight MH370

While there is yet to be concrete information yet on what happened to the Boeing 777 over Vietnam, Beijing International Airport has released a full list of passengers on board the flight.. The names are plenty, and come from 14 different nations..

This is becoming a tragic event in the making..

There have been rumors tonight that signals from the plane were located. And then those rumors were denied..

At the time of this posting, there has yet to be any news of value concerning the most likely tragic outcome this plane has had..

  • “We have no idea what happened to this plane”

“We have no idea what happened to this plane”

NBC news reports on a plane lost:

A Malaysia Airlines flight carrying 239 people has lost contact with air traffic control and was still missing two hours after it was supposed to have landed in Beijing, the airline said Saturday morning.

The airline told NBC News that a search-and-rescue mission was under way for Flight MH370, a Boeing 777-200, but it said it had no further information.

The flight from Kuala Lumpur, carrying 227 passengers, including two infants, and 12 crew members, had been scheduled to land at 6:30 a.m. in Beijing (5:30 p.m. ET Friday).

Boeing told CNBC it was aware of the report and was monitoring the situation.

While it may be a safe assumption that a missing plane is a crashed plane, no officials are at that point yet. As a matter of fact, the airplane vanished from radar over airspace controlled by Vietnam. Malaysia Airline’s vice president actually said “we have no idea what happened to this plane.”

According to reports, at the time of the disappearance the plane had 7.5 hours of fuel.

The apparent route of the airliner is over land.

Commentators on cable news are proclaiming that it appears the plane has vanished in thin air..
The plane was at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The pilot had reported nothing as far as problems..

The plane vanished two hours into flight..

At this point, FOX NEWS,  CNN and MSNBC are running their typical Friday night television, ignoring the breaking news event. The story obtained ‘breaking news’ status on CNN until 10pm EDT when the network switched to a pretaped special on Pistorius..

To the internet the world goes! It’s where we get the news.

    DEVELOPING..

  • As fate would have it

    As fate would have it

There are a events now and then in life that cause me to question reality, existence.. chance.. cause.. coincidence.. One such event took place today.
I was driving my son Ayden home from day care when I went around a sharp turn on the road, narrowly avoiding a giant rock that apparently became disconnected from its home at the top of the mountain. I saw the rock and had enough time to artfully dodge it..
The first thought I had as I drove on was that someone else would hit the rock—and quite possibly my wife driving home from work or someone else close to me. I decided to turn around.
After about another half mile, I found a safe place to turn.. Finally, arriving back at the rock, I pulled off the side of the road the best I could, knowing that I needed to be quick due to the speed of vehicles and the nature of the highway. As I got out of my car, the rock wasn’t just a rock; it was a boulder. Close up, I saw how enormous it actually was.
And just as quick as I stepped one foot out of my car, another car was heading dead straight for the boulder. It made contact.. both tires slammed over top of the of the piece of the mountain and the car did a 180 degrees spin before my eyes.
I moved the rock, which had to weight at least 60 pounds, to the side and then drove behind the person who hit the stone. She was safe, and the child in the back of her car was safe, but rattled by the bounce.. Before leaving the scene, I made certain that she had a ride and that she was fine. The car was not, though.. both tires were shredded.
So it brings up some questions in my mind.
First off.. if I would have decided to turn around a minute sooner, I may have arrived before she had the chance to made contact with the hazard, thus saving her the miserable Friday night mishap.. But as fate would have it, that didn’t occur.
The other thought was how set on turning around I was. How immense of an issue it was for me to do it.. I felt that if I did not go back and take that rock off the road, someone would be hurt, or worse. So the fact I witnessed someone do what I feared was a bit of a shock.
And finally, I wondered this: Did my turning around to go back set into motion the series of events that ruined this woman’s car, but perhaps saved the life of someone else?
    I don’t know.
If the multiverse theory has any credence, an infinite amount of simultaneously happened. It just so came to be that I was in the universe where people were safe but tires were destroyed.
I just cannot shake the feeling that I need to go back.. almost that I knew something was going to happen. Or someone would be hurt.
So the fact I witnessed before my eyes the very event I had a premonition of really has my scratching my head.
Coincidence, you may say. And you may be right.
    Maybe.
