Passenger and military jets both report seeing UFO over Canada

On the night of July 30, a Canadian military and a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight reported a UFO over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.

According to an aviation incident report posted on the night of Aug. 11, both flights “reported seeing a bright green flying object” that “flew into a cloud, then disappeared” in a stretch of open water between Quebec and Newfoundland.

Few other details were made available in the report, which appeared in CADORS, the Canadian government’s flight incident archive.

The summer of UFOs continue.. Much less bang and much more whimper.. but sightings continue in the strange dark skies..

    Vice has this follow up:

“In this particular incident, there is nothing to indicate that what the crew saw posed any kind of safety risk to the aircraft,” they added. “We believe that they saw something—they would not have filed a report otherwise.”

A spokesperson from Nav Canada, the private company that operates Canada’s air traffic control system and whose employees would have received the initial reports, told VICE World News that “there is no additional Nav Canada information available for these events.”

  • BRITNEY CLOSER TO FREE

    BRITNEY CLOSER TO FREE

Gossip rags and celebrity sites are abuzz with information that Britney Spears’ dad Jamie has STEPPED DOWN as conservator of her estate..

Court documents obtained by the UK SUN and other sources suggest that the long national nightmare has come to an end..

    This reporting from the SUN:

New court papers filed by Jamie Spears‘ lawyer state: “There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr. Spears as the Conservator of the Estate. “And it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator at this time would be in Ms. Spears’ best interests. However, the docs continue: “Nevertheless, even as Mr. Spears is the unremitting target of unjustified attacks, he does not believe that a public battle with his daughter over his continuing service as her conservator would be in her best interests. “So, even though he must contest this unjustified Petition for his removal, Mr. Spears intends to work with the Court and his daughter’s new attorney to prepare for an orderly transition to a new conservator.” Jamie’s team then insists in the court papers: “Regardless of his formal title, Mr. Spears will always be Ms. Spears’ father, he will always love her unconditionally, and he will always look out for her best interests.”

    So is she free?

    NOT SO FAST..

Yes, he will step down after several lingering issues are resolved .. BUT the document gives no timetable for his resignation from his role helping oversee his daughter’s finances.

“Mr. Spears continues to serve dutifully, and he should not be suspended or removed, and certainly not based on false allegations,” the filing said. “Mr. Spears is willing to step down when the time is right, but the transition needs to be orderly and include a resolution of matters pending before the Court.”

So #FreeBritney can live on as a hash tag just a bit longer.

  • The tsunami that wasn’t (thankfully)

    The tsunami that wasn’t (thankfully)

The National Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer, Alaska has issued a bulletin for the U.S. East Coast, the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, eastern Canada, and the Caribbean including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the wake of a massive earthquake that struck deep under the Atlantic Ocean today.

“Earthquakes of this size are known to generate tsunamis dangerous to shorelines near the source,” the Tsunami Warning Center wrote in a bulletin. Fortunately, they add, “There is no tsunami danger for the U.S. east coast, the Gulf of Mexico states, or the eastern coast of Canada.” ..the danger subsided..

An additional bulletin released by the Tsunami Warning Center also gave the all-clear to all Caribbean interests.

At 2:33 pm ET today, a 7.6 earthquake struck at a depth of 48 miles in the South Sandwich Islands region of the South Atlantic Ocean. It was followed by impressive aftershocks of 5.9, 5.9, 5.7, and most recently a 6.2 which struck just before 4pm ET. The initial earthquake was centered at 57.596°S 25.187°W.

There have been a few quakes in the Mid-Atlantic fault line region this week, none of which caused dangers of a tsunami..

But this event today caused a few fears before the final bulletin that there was nothing to fear but fear itself..

A few days ago, Strange Sounds was among the sites reporting on the East Coast tsunami danger.
