    The Defense Department has spent more than a year testing a device purchased in an undercover operation that some investigators think could be the cause of a series of mysterious ailments impacting US spies, diplomats and troops that are colloquially known as Havana Syndrome, according to four sources briefed on the matter.

    A division of the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations, purchased the device for millions of dollars in the waning days of the Biden administration, using funding provided by the Defense Department, according to two of the sources. Officials paid “eight figures” for the device, these people said, declining to offer a more specific number.

    National security officials at the White House were recently issued a warning: move away from the immediate area as soon as possible if you ever feel the acute onset of pressure, sound or heat in the head.

    In brown bag lunches over the past week, policy staff at the Pentagon have been instructed to report any strange, sudden health symptoms without delay.

    The U.S. government is sending a message to diplomats, national security staff and intelligence officers that “anomalous health incidents” — also known as “Havana syndrome” because it was first detected in Cuba — are serious, widespread and pose real danger to their health at home and abroad.

    This interesting report comes a day after global news articles published opinions that the entire syndrome was just imaginary and conflated by attention..

    Clearly the government is taking it seriously.

    ‘Earlier this evening, the Vice President’s traveling delegation was delayed from departing Singapore because the Vice President’s office was made aware of a report of a recent possible anomalous health incident in Hanoi, Vietnam. After careful assessment, the decision was made to continue with the Vice President’s trip,’ the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi said in a statement.

    At least two U.S. personnel in Hanoi will be medevacked out of the country after Havana Syndrome incidents over the weekend, NBC News reported. Hours before Harris’ arrival, American personnel in Vietnam were informed the incidents involved strange sounds – a key characteristic of Havana Syndrome. 

    The incidents occurred at staffers’ homes in Hanoi, not at the U.S. Embassy. Most staff are working from home because of the coronavirus pandemic. 

    ‘We, of course, take any reported incidents of Havana syndrome seriously,’ White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at Tuesday’s press briefing. ‘There was an assessment of the vice president and made that she could continue traveling.’

    President Biden’s top aides were told on Friday that experts studying the mysterious illnesses affecting scores of diplomats, spies and their family members were still struggling to find evidence to back up the leading theory, that microwave attacks are being launched by Russian agents.

    The report came in an unusual, classified meeting called by the director of national intelligence, Avril D. Haines, according to several senior administration officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The purpose of the meeting was to assess the investigations and efforts to treat victims of the so-called Havana syndrome — the unexplained headaches, dizziness and memory loss reported by scores of State Department officials, C.I.A. officers and their families.

    At this point the Biden administration is not saying very much publicly, but somewhere privately leaking out information that they are “shocked“ at how disorganized the intelligence operation was during the previous four years.

    The president did speak at least once on the Havana syndrome topic, but despite media attention in some circles the story is being largely unreported.

    Some speculate that this was an espionage act that turned into a health act, with high reaching consequences if this mystery is not unlocked..

    What weapon is being used, what maneuvers are being performed to make people have the strange health anomalies that they do, dating back to at least 2016 in Cuba.

    The interesting cases of the “Havana syndrome” continue to inflict strange oddities on what is now being said to be at least 200 people.

    These are diplomats and other government agents, at least according to what is leaking out so far.

    This all began many years ago in Cuba when foreign dignitaries were speaking about strange anomalies they were experiencing.

    Brain fog. Sickness.. true mental incapacity after being hit with “sound waves” and the like. 

    We covered it at that time and continued since. In 2017 and 2018 when these reports started circulating, most media gave it the normal “conspiracy theory” pass and said tin foil hat wearers were the only ones who believed it.

    Until the White House was hit with a sound wave attack in 2020 and Congress started demanding answers of alphabet agencies. Before you knew it, those “journalists” who mocked the story were not on the beat covering it.

    This is the latest information we know:

    An undercover Central Intelligence Agency officer who helped hunt down Osama bin Laden will now lead the agency task force charged with investigating the mysterious health incidents that continue to plague US personnel, according to a report Wednesday from The Wall Street Journal.

    The incidents, first reported in 2016 among US diplomats stationed in Havana, Cuba, tend to involve bizarre episodes of sonic and sensory experiences that are often described as directional. Afflicted diplomats develop symptoms including headaches, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), nosebleeds, difficulty concentrating and recalling words, permanent hearing loss, and speech problems. Medical experts examining some of the cases have found evidence of “injury to widespread brain networks without an associated history of head trauma.” That is, sufferers appear to a have a concussion without a blow to the head.

    Despite years of alarming reports and investigations into the cases, the cause of the incidents and who may be behind them remain a mystery—and cases continue to mount. News of the new task-force chief comes on the heels of a report from NBC News that the latest case count may be as high as 200. And though the incidents tend to be linked to Cuba—the condition is often referred to as “Havana Syndrome”—they have now been reported from every continent except Antarctica.

    A strange syndrome continues to afflict people around Washington D.C. , and specifically the White House..

    CNN is among the media reporting:

    Two White House officials were struck by a mysterious illness late last year — including one who was passing through a gate onto the property — newly revealed details that come as investigators are still struggling to determine who or what is behind these strange incidents.

    Multiple sources tell CNN that the episodes affected two officials on the National Security Council in November 2020, one the day after the presidential election and one several weeks later. The cases are consistent with an inexplicable constellation of sensory experiences and physical symptoms that have sickened more than 100 US diplomats, spies and troops around the globe and have come to be known as “Havana Syndrome.“

    We need to contemplate what is occurring here.. the idea that someone, something, is attacking our officials.

    Not only in Cuba like years ago, but on our soil. On the grounds of the White House itself!

    The government has successfully identified and fielded a blood test that can point to some markers that may indicate exposure, according to two US officials with direct knowledge of the matter. That test was among the diagnostic tools used in recent cases of intelligence officers who reported symptoms consistent with Havana Syndrome, and in the case of at least one of the White House victims, according to sources familiar with the matter. But the test alone is not enough to offer a clear diagnosis…
