    Ian Punnett dead at 63

This one hits hard. Ian Punnett was a friend through the darkness of the night. A radio host, deacon, and professor.. he is dead at a the age of 63.

The Coast to Coast family, both near and extended, have been rocked by news tonight that host, professor, and Deacon, Ian Punnett has left this planet right before Christmas.

From the Coast website, as written by Lisa Lyon:

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Ian Punnett passed away from a brief illness yesterday. His keen intellect and delightful sense of humor will be deeply missed. Since 2000, Ian has, in various incarnations, been a valued host of Coast to Coast AM, including regular weekend hosting duties, his own spin-off show Coast to Coast LIVE with Ian Punnett, a podcast entitled Vaudeville for the Frightened, and most recently twice a month hosting duties.

I’ve had the privilege of producing for Ian these past 24 years, and I will miss our friendship and the professional collaboration. Every conversation behind the scenes was as lively and entertaining and everything we strive for on the air. Ian was great radio personified.

Since Art Bell’s demise in 2018, Punnett was the last connection to the “old days“. He gave us memorable programs, great radio. And the horse guy! And for those who knew him personally, he was a friend and mentor along with a professor and someone who had a deep religious conviction. I was lucky enough to be able to say I talked to him briefly on a few occasions and he was a class act.

Coast to Coast just got a whole lot less interesting. And the world a much less interesting place.

May God have mercy on his wife and two sons..

Getting back to basics on Ground Zero: The return of Clyde Lewis

For weeks now, radio host Clyde Lewis has been missing in action.. until now: The radio legend is set to return in just days.

Ground Zero released a distressing message in June that Lewis was going to be out of commission and away from his fan base for several weeks. Timing could not have been worse: It happened just as the UAP hearings took center stage mid-summer.

In early June, executive producer Ron Patton posted this on the Ground Zero Facebook page:

Hello, Ground Zero fans! While Clyde is away until mid-August, I want to take the time and thank you all for your love and support toward the King of the Paranormal. He definitely covets your prayers and thoughts.

Although we are syndicated (we are on about 100 stations) Ground Zero has no ad revenue coming in, thus, we rely on Aftermath subscriptions to keep us afloat. Since Clyde is out of commission for 30 days while seeking intensive treatment at a weight management facility, we’d very much appreciate your financial support.

For those of you who are Aftermath subscribers, thank you so much. If you are not, please consider becoming a member. As a premium member, you’ll have access to our archived shows, documents, magazines, books, videos, webinars, and much more. Our basic membership starts at only $8/month. We will keep you posted about Clyde’s health journey. Take good care and let your family and friends know about the show!

Since that time, the show has made efforts to update Lewis’s fan base with his health goals being met.

The good news is, Clyde is set to return Monday August 21. Paranormal news has not stopped. The show is going to be busy..

We can’t wait for his return.. while the guest hosts have done a fine job at keeping Ground Zero lively, the special style and voice of Clyde Lewis can light up a dark night..

It will be equally intriguing to hear about Clyde’s personal health struggles—along with stories of wolves he posted that he saw. That sounds interesting.

In our anticipation we reached out to the show and received a statement attributed to Clyde Lewis himself..

    Lewis told us,

“There is no rest when things get wicked!” This is why I have to come back — too many things to observe and report and I will do my best to continue what I do best — Solid theories and entertaining paranormal stories’. Looking forward to be in touch with all whose love and prayers kept me going.

It absolutely sounds likes he’s rested and ready return..

Countdown to Ground Zero. A legend returns.

A fun flashback: The day that Art Bell got his alien

A blast from the past, courtesy of an upload from Joshua P. Warren a few years back on Youtube..

The famed alien statute that radio legend Art Bell inherited from Rush Limabugh–fans came to know it and appreciate it when Bell was alive and well.

Back on Warren’s podcast on February 29, 2020, he spoke about Carville the alien. He gave the story behind the puzzle of Art’s inheritance from El Rushbo back in the day.

During the event when Limbaugh gave him the Gray, Art Bell was doing a joint event at a radio convention on March 10, 2001 with Matt Drudge..

The following video, short and sweet, gives a glimpse of what many of us recalled living through.. and what many newbies never saw.

These were the days of giants…

    Those days are long gone.

Joe Rogan responds to Spotify controversy

For days, headlines have been written in media circles concerning the war between Neil Diamond, and now Joni Mitchell, and Joe Rogan. Diamond and Mitchell both have stated they want their music off of the streaming service Spotify because of controversial broadcasts from Rogan.

Rogan has been embroiled in some form of COVID-19 controversy since he came down with a virus, it was lampoon by media outlets for using ivermectin during his recovery.

Recently he had some controversial guests who did not say the same thing about the pandemic that other main stream sources say. In response, and he called for Rogan to be silenced and censored from the streaming service all together.

Rogan responded to the fallout on Sunday, saying in a video on Instagram that he was only seeking to have conversations on his podcast with people who have “differing opinions.”

“I’m not trying to promote misinformation, I’m not trying to be controversial,” Rogan said. “I’ve never tried to do anything with this podcast other than to just talk to people.”

He also said that he schedules the guests on his podcast himself, and that he would try to book doctors with different opinions right after he talks to “the controversial ones.” Rogan noted that he earlier sat down on the show with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the chief medical correspondent for CNN, Dr. Michael Osterholm, who is a member of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 advisory board, and Dr. Peter Hotez from Baylor College of Medicine.

  • Darkness Dave updates fans

    Darkness Dave updates fans

The great paranormal radio host of Darkness Radio, Dave Schrader, opened up during a blunt Facebook live last night.

Schrader has gone missing, and has also posted some mysterious words through social media over the past several weeks.

Darkness Dave said that he, like most other people, are dealing with high anxiety and even depression from the previous two years of our pandemic world.

During the Facebook live, Schrader mentioned that his longtime friend Tim Dennis and he are not as friendly as they once were. Well they have a professional relationship and Dennis will be taking over the hosting duties on the radio program, Schrader said he is stepping back from it at this point.

Schrader left open the door for a potential podcasting or radio hosting in the future. It also seems that he is amped up to continue his work in the paranormal world in some way..

There is one thing that Schrader has bragging rights to. He has been with Darkness Radio for 16 years, but beyond that he is the only radio host to have this under his belt: Art Bell and Schrader are the only two people to be able to say that they hosted both Coast to Coast AM and Midnight in the Desert!

As for the future, it seems that it’s all just always developing..

  • Megyn Kelly Exposed by Alex Jones in Leaked Audio Recordings

Megyn Kelly Exposed by Alex Jones in Leaked Audio Recordings

I figured something was up last week when Megyn Kelly visited the set of Alex Jones.. Jones told her to sit in the same chair that Matt Drudge sat in in 2016.. She was joking with him while on his set of his daily syndicated Youtube and radio program..

    All friendly..
    Then ..
The real interview.. people angry that NBC gave Jones a major voice – though he most likely was one of the biggest influences on the 2016 election of anyway.

And now this: Controversy! Jones has the secret tapes!

    More from the DAILY BEAST:

Alex Jones, the conspiracy-theorizing host of the Infowars website whose controversial interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly is set to air Sunday night, has fallen back to the argument of every disgruntled interviewee: “They took me out of context.”
Except in this case, Jones may cause serious trouble for Kelly, who he apparently took the precaution of covertly taping in pre-interview calls and, he claims, the interview itself, which he is now publicizing on Infowars and his YouTube channel. And in those clandestine clips, the former Fox News host appears to promise to go easy on him in the interview.

In one 30-minute video Jones published that included extensive audio of a pre-interview call with Kelly, the new NBC hire appeared to promise the interview would be a softball personality piece.
“My goal is for your listeners and the left—you know, who will be watching some on NBC—to say, ‘Wow, that’s really interesting,” the voice that appears to be Kelly says. “It’s not going to be some gotcha hit piece, I promise you that.”

In the mean time, you can contain your excitement over the media furor with this from INFOWARS: The leaked audio tape..
