    It seems the Inuit elders are also witnessing strange and unfathomable weather up there in the North.
    The elders talk about how their world has changed, how it was then and how it is now.
    It is a worrying picture, a picture of melting glaciers and thinning or disappearing sea ice.
    Seals with burns on their coats and covered with sores and a thinner hide, the Seal skin has deteriorated and while scientists maintain man made pollution is contributing to climate change the elders are convinced something much much bigger is going on!
    Astonishingly what the elders are saying is global warming is not the whole story…

    The elders maintain the Sun doesn’t rise were it used too, they have longer day light to hunt and the Sun is higher than it used to be and warms up quicker than before.
    The elders who were interviewed across the north all said the same thing, their sky has changed.
    The stars the Sun and the Moon have all changed affecting the temperature, even affecting the way the wind blows, it is becoming increasingly hard to predict the weather, something that is a must on the Arctic.

    This sun not rising where it used to rise issue is something I am fully aware of.. I have also noted to friends and family my own personal confusion over that very issue, presenting a photo taken at one time years ago and comparing it to the position of the sun in the same place during the same season years later.

    There are a variety of sources saying that this sun not rising issue is a myth and that the claims are easily debunked.. 

    However, magnetic north is changing. Airports have had to re-calibrate their runways for global positioning.. and place that would usually get no sun in the summer time at my house were bright this year..

    The elders mentioned in this article all think that the earth has tilted to the North..

    We also know from science that magnetic north is shifting more than ever..

    I know through my own personal observations that there seems to be a change, that the placement of the sun has gone to extreme angles compared to years previous..

    And I also know what I read from science journals: That a pole flip could happen within the next 1000 years..

    All that said.. does the sun rise and set where it should? I guess there’s peace of mind at least seeing the rise and set to begin with..

    There is this notion that once Halloween ends, the paranormal world closes down and the thin window between the here and there closes until the next go around a year later.. But that is hardly true–if you believe in the paranormal to begin with, there’s no time or date on when ghostly affairs can take place. Even more, history shows that Christmas, throughout history, has been a time and place for creepy tales and weird stories. Even more, religious believers claim that Christmas is the greatest time of year for a release of souls from purgatory..

    So Christmas, my friends, is not rest for the weary..

    But there is an even darker creature who lurks behind your Christmas tree while you innocently sip on warm egg nog: Krampus.

    Krampus is the Christmas devil who haunts children..
    Krampus is not a very nice creature.. Santa Claus brings presents to children who were good.. Krampus punishes those who were not. He puts the children, those especially too naughty that even coal will not suffice, into his bag and carries them to his lair.

    When I was a children in a new closed down elementary school in Pennsylvania named Holy Spirit, we had a yearly regiment of putting out shoes in the hallway during a particular time of day and listening for bells. We were told that St. Nick would be coming around to give candy to good kids. You did not want a wooden stick, though–we were not told by teachers then that Krampus was the one who would give the sign that you were a bad child during the past year.. and later we found out that the school janitor was St Nick anyway, so the whole episode became defunct ..

    But that little charade was a part of a grand tradition in some parts of the world–the first week of December is when Krampus gets his holiday. People dress up like the Christmas demon and have wild parties.. As custom in some nations, such as Austria, Romania, and Croatia, younger men will dress as Krampus and roam the street at night to play morbid tricks on children.. they will walk with rusty bells and chains.

    In 2013, there were more and more articles popping up on the Internet concerning the Krampustime traditions. Suddenly, it seemed, Santa’s sleigh broke down and a new Christmastime hero was being heralded.. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC went back in time to explain how Krampus came to be, and how he would whip bad children into being nice, a horrid thought when you consider it..  NAT GEO wrote,

    Krampus was created as a counterpart to kindly St. Nicholas, who rewarded children with sweets. Krampus, in contrast, would swat “wicked” children and take them away to his lair.

    According to folklore, Krampus purportedly shows up in towns the night before December 6, known as Krampusnacht, or Krampus Night. December 6 also happens to be Nikolaustag, or St. Nicholas Day, when German children look outside their door to see if the shoe or boot they’d left out the night before contains either presents (a reward for good behavior) or a rod (bad behavior).

    A more modern take on the tradition in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic involves drunken men dressed as devils, who take over the streets for a Krampuslauf—a Krampus Run of sorts, when people are chased through the streets by the “devils.”

    In the beginning of 2014, there were even reports that Kevin Smith wanted to make a Krampus horror movie.. In the springtime, it was revealed that Smith’s KRAMPUS cast included some big names.. And it’s not just Kevin Smith. Only days ago it was reported that Michael Doughtery was directing a KRAMPUS horror comedy and a release of that film was set for Christmas 2015..

    BOING BOING is running an article on the newfound popularity of the old soul named Krampus. He may not be the grinch who stole Christmas after all, btu the devil who provided it new meaning..

    But the news lately has not just been all fun and demonic games.. Dateline Austria: A man dressed as Krampus beat a woman with a stick during one party.. The news source from that nation reports that Krampus attire is common this time of year.. Another opinion writer online says it’s time to introduce Krampus to children, that the mind control on kids is needed. The article may be tongue in cheek comedy written by a humorist.. but that words would most likely resonate with some out there who want to children a bit of the bad–for those times when coal is just not an effective threat anymore..

    In every sense, Krampus is a necessary part of the Christmas season..
    God has the devil, and the eternal battle of spiritual warfare is said to take place in our heavens above..
    Batman has the Joker.
    Obama has Boehner.
    Santa.. well, Santa has Krampus.

    And being the first week of December, it’s just about time for the Krampus festivals around the world to light up in a wicked fashion and bring the paranormal back to Christmas…

    Ed Edwards was a serial killer who murdered countless amounts of people around the United States. There is even a new book claiming that he may have been involved with the 1990s famed Jon Bonet Ramsey murder.. There are others who even believe that Edwards was the Zodiac Killer. But On October 17, 1972, Edward Wayne Edwards, the man we know was a mass murderer, appeared on the game show TO TELL THE TRUTH. He was a con man.. And clearly, even on this show, was telling things very far from the truth:

    Rodney Alcala was another murderer and rapist who made a television debut on a game show in the 1970s..  A number of sexually explicit photographs of boys were also found, some of which could have been additional victims of him.. Alcala was also known as the DATING GAME killer, because that was the 1970s show he appeared on ..

    There is something obviously very grisly and creepy about serial killers.. but match them up with obscure and equally creepy 1970s pop culture, and you have the ultimate of oddity and weirdness..

    Keep in mind the brutality of these two people.. and couple that with the fact that their crimes had already been started by the point where they were able to get through background checks and be transmitted into living rooms across America..

    The other question I often ponder based off of these two incidents: Are there people today, on modern game shows, who will one day be revealed to the world as the next horrid killer among us?

    The strange streak of clown crimes continue worldwide..

    It seemingly all started when TWISTY first appeared on American Horror Story.. since that time frame, the news has been giving us clown recaps nightly. Clowns who terrify children with axes.. others who rip apart pumpkins on front porches..

    Last week we heard about France getting a fair share of freaky clown sightings and crimes..

    Tonight, more information on just how bad this clown fever is getting is being revealed.. This news from France: What began in the Northern part of the country now appears to be spreading. Clowns are showing up in different parts of France, and they are spreading fear, too.. According to media reports, the clown syndrome in that country has been easily spread by Facebook posts and other social media.  

    Also in France, another fake clown was given jail time only days ago.. His crime? Threatening people in full clown attire. And holding a stick that police said resembled a knife..

    The French clown revolution is not only marred by vigilantes searching for those in face paint, but the clowns themselves are also accused of committing crimes.. the town of Douai seems to be ground zero in France. Last week a small girl was reportedly chased .. a student said she was threatened by a clown..  

    This is how phobias are born..

    While this worldwide clown fascination has unfolded, the main brunt of the trickster oddities appear to have hit France hardest.. It is so strange and bizarre that police are saying this: “Symptomatic of the impact of the Internet, this phenomenon can lead to damaging individual acts and disturbances to public order”.”

    The police say that the ‘scary subculture’ of clowns is spreading because of the net fascination..

    This is all getting so weird.
    So weird that there is even a statement from the World Clown Association.. something I did not even know existed until this latest streak of bizarre news..

    Randy Christensen is the president elect of the World Clown Association.. he is unhappy with all of the attention media has been paying to clowns behaving badly.  Vulture interviewed him in depth. No word on whether he was in full gear ..

    Christensen seems to have a big mission: Get people to stop fearing clowns.
    Pop culture isn’t following his lead.
    Neither are violent clowns in France.
    Or scary ones everywhere else..

    While the TODAY SHOW talked about how to ‘take charge of your laundry’ Friday morning, a weird message popped up: An emergency alert that the channel has been force tuned to receive the Emergency Alert Message.. The actual audio of the station was interrupted in various cities while the message alert broadcast noise buzzed and the text demanded people stop using their phones to free lines up for the emergency ..

    No alert message followed..
    It is presumed this was a test run.

    Apparently it was not just people scared into a few paranoid thoughts, but also news stations, as well.. <a href=”http://www.wsoctv.com/news/news/local/wsoc-tvs-statement-emergency-alert-aired-wsoc-tv-a/nhrBF/?ecmp=wsoctv_social_twitter_2014_sfp”>WSOC-TV in Charlotte put a statement on its website that read:</a>

    People are actively searching every available map to figure out why such an output would occur..

    Lest we forget: The allegations of an underground base near DULCE. Maybe this is some form of evidence that such a base exists—or at least something that will inspire the people who believe it to investigate further..

    The HORROR REPORT is also aware of constant rumors of nuclear testing–especially in the years when the data was being studied..

    But I just keep coming back to that mysterious DULCE base.. and the location being so close to the place where this hotspot is making itself evident at..

    Things are truly getting bizarre. A few days ago I implored zombie hunters to get their twinkies ready as news broke that two Ebola patients in Africa reportedly rose from the dead..

    The steady stream of people coming back to life has not abated. The latest is from Greece.. We’re being told by some of the lamestream media across the pond in the UK that a cancer patient—dead, mind you—began shouting from her casket in her grave.. This is what the LONDON TELEGRAPH reported:

    Police said a cemetery worker and two people visitors heard a woman’s voice from inside the 49-year-old cancer patient’s grave on Thursday.

    The sounds were reportedly heard by the passers-by shortly after the last relatives of the deceased had left her funeral in the northern town of Peraia.

    They are believed to have dug up the grave to try to save her, but by the time they got her out of the ground she had suffocated inside the coffin, according to Greek media.

    A doctor summoned to the cemetery pronounced her dead, but dismissed claims that she had revived and had called for help.

    Of course a doctor would poo poo the claim that someone rose from the dead .. After all, real zombies don’t exist.

    Except this week.
    Three.. two with Ebola, one with cancer..

    In this case, the ending was sad, times two.. After the family left the gravesite, the woman actually died again.. If she was dead to begin with, of course.

    But at this point, there will be no proof to offer anyone that someone rose from the dead.. The story is complicated. Perhaps the first trauma didn’t kill, and a funeral home didn’t notice.. Maybe embalming did not happen. I don’t know. But I do know that the news has been freaky lately..

    As to whether or not she rose from the dead? She’s dead now.. So…….

    The official Vatican trade reported that Pope Francis greeted a paralyzed man.. There are several other photos from the day but this one I post just sort of stood out at me. Perhaps it’s because the scenery behind the people listening to Francis speak looked like the gates of hell opening, like fire engulfing the row of people who are peacefully listening to what Bergoglio as to say..

    It’s actually a freakish image to me, to be honest. I am sure people smarter than me would know some of the deeper meanings that the statue encapsulates. But I don’t know if I want to know..

    The Pennsylvania woman who captured an unidentified flying object on her cell phone camera says she is, “scared to death now.”

    It surely does look a bit odd.. Especially when military facilities nearby say no flight activity would have been taking place on that night..

    The city of Harrisburg also say this object—more than just the woman being profiled by ABC NEWS and GOOD MORNING AMERICA..

    Eyewitnesses to the event say the object was not moving and was changing colors .. 911 calls were made, police saw it when they arrived on scene… The National Guard said it wasn’t them..

    I believe that this is a UFO—by definition any ‘unidentified flying object’ is a UFO.. But the fact that people are seeing this more than one night, and nights in a row in certain instances, tells me that we have two possibilities: A drone. Or … something ‘out there’..

    More weird news making real headlines

    I have written recently about my fascination with stories that ultimately are of the ‘paranormal’ making headlines in mainstream publications.. Today shows us another example of the increasing paranormal-ification of the daily news: Roberto Calderoli, a Senator from Italy, put a request in to the Pope: He wants an exorcism.. 

    Tom Kington in Rome, reporting for the The LONDON TELEGRAPH writes, this:

    At a ceremony last year attended by Miss Kyenge’s father, Clement Kikoko Kyenge, in his home village, a prayer was said in which God was asked to free Mr Calderoli from evil thoughts. A photo of Mr Calderoli was then placed before an altar dedicated to the ancestors of the village, and the same request made.

    But this month Mr Calderoli said a series of misfortunes he has incurred since then – including six hospital operations, the death of his mother, two broken fingers and two broken veterbrae – proved he had actually been cursed by Mr Kyenge.

    And more:

    To cap his year of bad luck, Mr Calderoli this month tweeted a photo of himself holding a six foot long snake he said he had found and killed at his home in Italy.

    Maybe St. Patrick freed the snakes from Ireland and they all moved to Italy..?

    Before getting to overdone in religious fervor to support Mr. Calderoli, consider a few things hidden in plain view about his past dealings with the supposed possessor.A defamation of character case was opened against Calderoli in 2013.. Before he claimed possession at the hands of Kyenge, he first compared to an orangutan—said sorry, but still said it wasn’t racist.  The incident led to the Italian Prime Minister calling for an end to the racist insults..

    With that all said, some faithful may believe that given his possession and racist sentiments, it’s high time for an exorcism. Others may just see things for what things are…

    But regardless.. what about this snake!
