    Abouy in Florida waters registered a potential record breaking 101 degrees today.. 

    While the readings would’ve been considered a possible outlier or sensor error, surrounding buoys recorded similarly high temperatures, with 99.3 F at Murray Key and 98.4 F at Johnson Key.

    Another reason why these water temperature readings are being taken seriously is the fact that experts have been tracking the exceptionally warm water temperature readings that have ranged from 92-97 degrees since early July.

    Meanwhile.. Washington DC was not with a bout of severe weather and for a brief time a funnel cloud was captured forming above the nations Capitol..

    Let’s hope these don’t portend of further looking calamities to befall a nation and planet.

    Lana Del Rey now moonlighting in secondary employment at a Waffle House?

    Lana was dressed in the company’s blue uniform and wore a yellow name badge as she kept busy behind the counter and appeared to be waiting tables.

    She was also seen chatting to some very surprised customers, before sweetly posing for photographs with eager fans at the restaurant.

    It is not known why Lana was working at the venue, but fans were quick to flock to social media to share their shock at her appearance.

    House Oversight Committee members leading the UAP whistleblower hearing unveiled the names of the whistleblowers testifying and shared a glimpse of what the public should expect during testimony next week.

    Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., confirmed Thursday that there will be three witnesses who will testify during next week’s hearing: Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot and executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace; David Fravor, a former commanding officer of the Black Aces Squadron with the U.S. Navy; and David Grusch, a former national reconnaissance officer representative of the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force with the Department of Defense.

    That’s some big names..

    And a big event.

    Everything you’re about to read about artificial intelligence will be written by artificial intelligence. At a certain point when everything that we consume is written by AI, and everything that we do is run by AI won’t be the point of us? This is unsettling and happening quickly. It’s not just manufacturing jobs anymore folks. The future is Natalie now, but perhaps it’s so late at the future was then, and we’re beyond.

    

    The tool, known internally by the working title Genesis, can take in information — details of current events, for example — and generate news copy, the people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the product.

    One of the three people familiar with the product said that Google believed it could serve as a kind of personal assistant for journalists, automating some tasks to free up time for others, and that the company saw it as responsible technology that could help steer the publishing industry away from the pitfalls of generative A.I.

    Some executives who saw Google’s pitch described it as unsettling, asking not to be identified discussing a confidential matter. Two people said it seemed to take for granted the effort that went into producing accurate and artful news stories.

    A Google spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The Times and The Post declined to comment.

    Oppressive is not the word for this. Phoenix is just one of the many locations globally right now dealing with terrible heat and extreme summer conditions. 

    I’m sure there’s many places around the globe that are enjoying beautiful sunny beach weather but for the most part, it seems like everyone’s pretty miserable with the summer of 2023 

    The temperatures are “very extreme,” said Matt Salerno, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix. “We’re talking 10 degrees above where they normally are.” The city set another heat record on Monday: eight consecutive days in which the overnight temperature never dipped below 90 degrees.

    The heat is particularly brutal and inescapable at the sprawling homeless encampment in central Phoenix known as “The Zone.”

    There are barely any trees and, this July, people have been suffering second-degree burns after they pass out or fall asleep on the hot asphalt and sidewalks.

    There are few sources of running water other than donated bottles and portable wash stations. So a spigot outside a shelter often has a line of people pouring water over their heads and filling up five-gallons jugs to take back to their tents.

    “Masters of the Universe,” a live-action movie based on He-Man and a slew of other popular Mattel toys, is officially dead at Netflix, according to multiple Variety sources.

    Insiders said that close to $30 million has already been spent on development costs and the cash that’s been shelled out to hold on to talent – like previously announced lead Kyle Allen and the film’s heatseeking directing duo Adam and Aaron Nee (“The Lost City”). Other knowledgable sources estimate all-in costs for development at twice that figure
