Hilary hell: Hurricane now a Category 4 as West Coast prepares for historic event

Tired of living through weather history yet? It’s relentless.. and becoming so common it just stops feeling historic and instead just awful and redundant ..

Hurricane Hilary has intensified into a Category 4 storm as it nears Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, yet is expected to weaken over the weekend as it brings rain and the threat of flooding to parts of the Southwest US.

Some are worried that it could hit a cat 5 before weakening ..

Hilary was churning about 425 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, early Friday morning with sustained winds of 140 mph with stronger gusts, the National Hurricane Center said.

The updated wind cone (featured as this story’s main image) has an increased chance of tropical storm-strength winds hitting the San Diego area, up from 30%-40% to 40%-50%.

There is also an outside chance of what’s known as a “wet” Santa Ana event, which could bring increased winds, as the circulation pushes north.

    More..

Thanks to Hilary, “multiple years’ worth of precipitation could potentially fall in some of the driest parts of California,” Daniel Swain, a climate scientist at the University of California at Los Angeles, said Wednesday.

Among those spots is Death Valley, California, the hottest place on Earth. Death Valley typically receives about 2 inches of rain across an entire year, according to NWS data. Moisture from Hilary could unleash enough rain to give Death Valley 1 to 2 years worth of rainfall in a single day. And Las Vegas could get 2 to 4 inches of rain. It only averages 3.75 inches of rain a year.

Prolonged rain may oversaturate the ground and overwhelm waterways, potentially worsening the flood threat.

Getting back to basics on Ground Zero: The return of Clyde Lewis

For weeks now, radio host Clyde Lewis has been missing in action.. until now: The radio legend is set to return in just days.

Ground Zero released a distressing message in June that Lewis was going to be out of commission and away from his fan base for several weeks. Timing could not have been worse: It happened just as the UAP hearings took center stage mid-summer.

In early June, executive producer Ron Patton posted this on the Ground Zero Facebook page:

Hello, Ground Zero fans! While Clyde is away until mid-August, I want to take the time and thank you all for your love and support toward the King of the Paranormal. He definitely covets your prayers and thoughts.

Although we are syndicated (we are on about 100 stations) Ground Zero has no ad revenue coming in, thus, we rely on Aftermath subscriptions to keep us afloat. Since Clyde is out of commission for 30 days while seeking intensive treatment at a weight management facility, we’d very much appreciate your financial support.

For those of you who are Aftermath subscribers, thank you so much. If you are not, please consider becoming a member. As a premium member, you’ll have access to our archived shows, documents, magazines, books, videos, webinars, and much more. Our basic membership starts at only $8/month. We will keep you posted about Clyde’s health journey. Take good care and let your family and friends know about the show!

Since that time, the show has made efforts to update Lewis’s fan base with his health goals being met.

The good news is, Clyde is set to return Monday August 21. Paranormal news has not stopped. The show is going to be busy..

We can’t wait for his return.. while the guest hosts have done a fine job at keeping Ground Zero lively, the special style and voice of Clyde Lewis can light up a dark night..

It will be equally intriguing to hear about Clyde’s personal health struggles—along with stories of wolves he posted that he saw. That sounds interesting.

In our anticipation we reached out to the show and received a statement attributed to Clyde Lewis himself..

    Lewis told us,

“There is no rest when things get wicked!” This is why I have to come back — too many things to observe and report and I will do my best to continue what I do best — Solid theories and entertaining paranormal stories’. Looking forward to be in touch with all whose love and prayers kept me going.

It absolutely sounds likes he’s rested and ready return..

Countdown to Ground Zero. A legend returns.

LA at risk for hurricane! 80mph winds ! Developing

Tropical Storm Hilary is currently brewing in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mainland Mexico and is due to develop into a hurricane by 1pm on Thursday and a major hurricane by 1am on Saturday…

By Sunday afternoon, hurricane Hilary is expected to hit Southern California and potentially Los Angeles as a tropical storm.

Only two full-blown tropical storms have hit the coast of California in the last century in 1939!

‘Although it is too soon to determine the location and magnitude of rainfall and wind impacts, interests in these areas should monitor the progress of Hilary and updates to the forecast,’ the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration warned on Wednesday.

Canine test: Dogs know when you have COVID

Is your insurance company refusing to pay for your latest COVID test? Are you getting tired of those deep nose swabs?

    Get a dog..

Not only will you have a friend, but potentially your canine bestie will be able to tell you when you have COVID.

At least according to the “new study”…

The meta-analysis found that dogs’ sense of smell can be a faster, more precise, less expensive – not to mention friendlier – method for detecting COVID-19 than even our best current technology. A growing number of studies over the last two or so years has highlighted the power of dogs in detecting the stealthy virus and its variants, even when they are obscured by other viruses, such as those from common colds and flu. All these enhancements mean that dogs can detect very low concentrations of odors associated with COVID infections.

    Check this out:

“They can detect the equivalent of one drop of an odorous substance in 10.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools,” University of California at Santa Barbara Prof. Emeritus Tommy Dickey said. “For perspective, this is about three orders of magnitude better than with scientific instrumentation.”

In some cases, dogs were able to detect COVID in presymptomatic and asymptomatic patients whose viral load was too low for conventional tests to work.

  • Social media shock: Britney splits with Sam!

Social media shock: Britney splits with Sam!

Let the conspiracy theories flow!! Is it really Britney, Bitch?

PEOPLE magazine led the way with reports that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari calling it splits.

IF they were ever married to begin with. IF she really even exists anymore to begin with!!

Spears’ and Asghari’s reps have not commented on or confirmed the information.

Spears’ marriage to Asghari marked her third wedding and second marriage. She was previously married to Jason Alexander in 2004 in Las Vegas for just 55 hours, and then married Kevin Federline that same year. Fourteen months ago, Britney walked down the aisle in a Donatella Versace dress, and had the time of her life on the dance floor with Madonna and several other famous guests.

Rumors that the couple was struggling began in March of 2023 after both were spotted without their wedding rings, but Asghari’s reps quickly shut those rumors down, saying he took off his ring to film a new movie.

There have been so many rumors about Britney’s well being since her conservator-ship ended, with many people thinking most if not everything on her Instagram social account was faked or phony..

This will add to the intrigue.

Save Britney.. from who. Or from herself?

Alec Baldwin may still face charges: Analysis shows he may have pulled the trigger on RUST set!

Actor Alec Baldwin may face charges again in the “Rust” movie set shooting after a second analysis of the gun involved alleges he pulled the trigger.

Baldwin has consistently maintained that he did not pull the trigger of the pistol that fatally shot 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza on the New Mexico set in October 2021.

In April, involuntary manslaughter charges against him were dismissed, with prosecutors saying the gun might have been modified before the shooting and malfunctioned. Prosecutors commissioned a new analysis of the gun.

A new gun analysis report, dated Aug. 2, assembled for Santa Fe County special prosecutors Kari T. Morrissey and Jason J. Lewis  found that the gun was not modified.

Mars attacks: Stuck in the mud

The Mars rover unmanned mission has discovered unique mud formations stereotypical of wet and dry spells over millions of years on the otherwise dry and cold Mars landscape which may have created the conditions necessary for life, according to a recent study titled ‘Sustained wet-dry cycling on early Mars’ was released in the peer-reviewed journal Nature on August 9, 2023.

The hexagonal patterns discovered are formed when an area has extended wet seasons followed by extended dry ones.

It has been known for a while that Mars contains the dried vestiges of rivers, lakes, and even seas as the study noted, “The presence of perennially wet surface environments on early Mars is well documented”.

The possibility remains that such formations may still contain life forms, likely of the microscopic variety.

  • Peru being attacked by aliens!! Or illegal miners with back packs..

Peru being attacked by aliens!! Or illegal miners with back packs..

The “attacks” began in mid-July. News started to circulate that flying aliens, or humanoids, began to attack villagers in Peru..

The news seemed far fetched, but this summer with Congressional hearings and earlier shootdowns of UAPs by the United States, anything seemed possible.

Members of the Peruvian Navy and Police traveled to the isolated community, which is located 10 hours by boat from the Maynas provincial capital of Iquitos, to investigate the strange disturbances in early August.

Last week, authorities said publicly that they believed the perpetrators were members of illegal gold mining gangs from Colombia and Brazil using advanced flying technology to terrorize the community, according to RPP Noticias.

Carlos Castro Quintanilla, the lead investigator in the case, said that 80 percent of illegal gold dredging in the region is located in the Nanay river basin, where the Ikitu community is located.

    VICE and others reporting this:

Cristian Caleb Pacaya, a local teacher who witnessed the attack, said that they “were using state of the art technology, like thrusters that allow people to fly.” He said that after looking the devices up on Google, he believed that they were “jetpacks.”

Authorities have not made any arrests related to the attacks, nor named the alleged assailants or their organization directly. However, the prosecutors office claimed that they had destroyed 110 dredging operations and 10 illegal mining camps in the area already in 2023.

Despite these police assurances that it just human terrorizers, others are keeping the faith:
