    The Washington POST and other mainstream sources are beginning to report on what really caused the Hawaii fires–the hurricane force winds were a factor.

    Some online speculated that a weaponized beam did it, the reality seems to be more on the mundane side. However one that could lead to some tremendous legal issues or power companies.. (Snopes among those de-energizing speculation about a directed energy weapons)

    At 10:47 p.m. last Monday, a security camera at the Maui Bird Conservation Center captured a bright flash in the woods, illuminating the trees swaying in the wind. “I think that is when a tree is falling on a power line,” says Jennifer Pribble, a senior research coordinator at the center, in a video posted on Instagram.

    More from the POST’s reporting:

    “The power goes out, our generator kicks in, the camera comes back online, and then the forest is on fire.”

    At that exact moment, 10 sensors in Makawao, a small, rural town in the East Maui region of Upcountry — where the Conservation Center is located — recorded a significant incident in Hawaiian Electric’s grid, according to data from Whisker Labs, a company that uses an advanced sensor network to monitor grids across the United States. The bright light in the video was probably an “arc flash,” something that happens when a power line “faults” — meaning it has come in contact with vegetation or another line, or gets knocked down, releasing power, usually through sparks, according to a Whisker Labs official and other experts.

    “This is strong confirmation — based on real data — that utility grid faults were likely the ignition source for multiple wildfires on Maui,” said Bob Marshall, the founder and CEO of Whisker Labs, which has 78 sensors across Maui, part of a robust network of hundreds of thousands monitoring grids across the United States.

    In the days leading up the predicted hurricane winds, Hawaiian Electric did not cut power as a precaution.

    As the days continue, and even President Joe Biden has yet to issue a statement of any kind, people in Hawaii are becoming enraged at the response and often lack thereof..

    This news comes from across the pond in the United Kingdom. But the same storyline can be heard across the planet right now: Excess deaths are abundant.

    Even personally someone I know very well who is as youthful as me just succumbed to a life changing heart attack. He’s recovering .. but clearly the spike in deaths since Covid showcase something far deeper going on. Something far deadlier as well given the high number of excess deaths occurring..

    Government data show almost 100,000 extra deaths among those with heart disease between spring 2020 and spring of this year. In 2019-20, before the pandemic, 82,000 people were hospitalised with heart attacks.

    It follows research that found almost half a million people missed out on drugs to prevent heart attacks and strokes during the pandemic.

    Heart charities have warned that “extreme disruption to the NHS” in the aftermath, including record ambulance delays, may have worsened death rates and increased the numbers suffering heart attacks that might have been avoided with the right help more quickly.

He noticed an upsurge in both deaths unrelated to the virus and also vaccine injuries that were going unreported.     Officials with the Marion Police Department confiscated computers and cellphones from the publisher and staff of the Marion County Record in Friday’s raid.

    On Monday, Kansas state authorities confirmed they are also involved in a criminal probe of the newspaper over allegations that it illegally obtained and used personal information about a local business owner.

    Friday’s raids have been widely condemned by many as a violation of the U.S. Constitution’s protection for a free press.

    Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly called the raids “concerning.”

    Newspaper publisher and co-owner Eric Meyer said he believes the newspaper’s dogged coverage of local politics and Police Chief Gideon Cody’s record are the main reason for the raids. The Record was in the midst of digging into the newly hired chief’s past as a Kansas City, Missouri, police captain when the raids were carried out, Meyer said, although the newspaper hasn’t yet published a story.

    The newspaper’s attorney, Bernie Rhodes of Kansas City, sent a letter to the Cody demanding that police not review any information on the computers or cellphones seized, saying they were taken illegally and contain identities of confidential sources. He also accuses Cody of misinterpreting laws on privacy and wrongly applying them to news reporters.

    What makes the situation even worse is the fact that police also raided the home of Eric Meyer’s mom (she was as co owner of the paper and contributed a weekly column.. the day after the raid the 98 year old woman passed away..

    Now new information has been revealed that the paper was also doing an expose on the town’s police chief ..

    This developing.. A grand jury in Fulton County Georgia has its indictments set and ready to go. Charlie Gile at NBC snapped the photo to prove it — unlike Reuters earlier today..

    But this time it may be all on camera–a perfect way to continue showcasing the Trump show, Battle of the Don season 2..

    The presiding judge has the final say on camera access. Media organizations are required to file a formal request, known as a Rule 22, for the judge’s consideration. The filing is often considered more of a formality, as the requests are almost always granted. 

    This means that if the former president is indicted and required to travel to Atlanta for an in-person arraignment, the world would likely see him on camera for the first time as a defendant, standing before a judge and entering a plea. Up until now, there have been only a handful of photos allowed in the New York City courtroom before his arraignments. And there has been no video of Trump — or his lawyers — uttering the words “not guilty.”

    At this point it is assumed but there is no official word yet on who will be writing Scream 7, but THR reports that Melissa Barrera and Mason Gooding are expected to return.

    Of course this is all this contingent on Hollywood actually coming back soon from a writers strike..

    This is developing in Atlanta ..

    Reuters reported on numerous charges against Trump in Georgia that included conspiracy, false statements, forgery and racketeering.

    The news agency cited a two-page docket report that appears to have been posted, and then deleted.
    Soon after the story was published, a spokeswoman for Fulton County courts told CNBC that Reuters’ headlines were “inaccurate,” but would not explain how or why.

    We have avoided the story of the crazy plane lady, mostly because we really had no idea what was occurring.

    You’ve seen the memes of the woman from the flight screaming about the person in the back of the plane not being real..

    For a refresher here:

    From the point this occurred, countless videos are uploaded, memes were generated, and a legend was born. It became a summer fascination, coupled with the UAP hearings in front of Congress, many were alleging that what this woman saw was an alien. A ghost. A Shapeshifter. Those with different forms of logic stated that she was having an argument with someone over earbuds. TikTok took over the story and made videos from there.

    It’s a matter fact, it was TikTok that revealed her name long before the major media did. If you were watching that social media content for about a month now, you already knew her name was Tiffany Gomas.

    What is social media platform will not get much praise from main stream and legacy sources, her name is now official since the New York post and UK Daily Mail have reported it.

    And the advertising and marketing executive has even created a website in the aftermath.

    What makes things weirder is now that her name release and social media platforms have given her the avenues to apologize, more video has been released of the aftermath.

    Police video of cops escorting her from the airport that we never saw before, not until her name was released.

    It just seems like some sort of an embargo that was on. The story was lifted, but yet we maintain only receiving half of the information.

    What do we mean by only have the information, will you know. We still don’t know who that shape shifting ghost like creature in the back of the plane is. It’s interesting as you watch the initial video of her screaming about the person or thing or entity in the back of the plane, but then, in the police video she’s audibly heard, stating that the plane was going to be bombed, and that it should not take flight.

    She has been accused of drug abuse, alcoholism, insanity, and others more recently, as people have discovered that she is a marketing executive, have been saying that this is all for show and attention. A ploy. Some are alleging that she planned this entire social media blitz for attention and future fame.. it seems unlikely to us as the entire flareup of her video early summer seemed organic and unplanned.

    But in the end, the world just wants to know. What did she say in the back of the plane. Just tell us, Tiffany, we’ve been on pins and needles for the entire summer.

    Maybe in the book or in some future marketed special.

    Until then.. that mother f-er is not real.

    Epically bad numbers for the horror flick LAST VOYAGE OF DEMETER but Barbenheimer continues it’s odd summer rampage on the box office.

    While did the movie do so bad? Some have opinions.. we think people are bored with vampires, the marketing was bad, and this is not the magic week of summer for horror. Closer to September always works better..

    But from Deadline, they say this:

    Unfortunately, the tanking of Amblin/Universal’s $45M-costing The Last Voyage of the Demeter stands out like a wart, since we haven’t had many misfires this summer. Granted, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One‘s profitability might be in question next to their exorbitant Covid costs. But these pics have put up tentpole grosses in the nine digits, and have been mass draws (just not as massive as they were hoped to be). Note the filmmakers aimed to keep this period horror pic as cheap as they could: Exteriors were shot in Malta, while interior were shot in Germany, both those countries respectively having tax credits of 50% and 30%.
