This was my favorite as the most snarky of the MATT DRUDGE comments tonight on Twitter about John Boeher.. You can read the rest on this link for posterity, as Drudge will most likely delete them all as he regularly does with each tweet..

CHARLIE CHARLIE, you can’t leave
You may have heard of the pencil game called CHARLIE CHARLIE.. There are variations of it online, some say two pencils, but others say three.. Either way, you need to begin with two players and both must chant ‘Charlie Charlie can we play.’ The pencils will take on a life of their own, it is said, if Charlie wants to play…
The legend has been around for some time, with people randomly posting links of their own experimentation.. and others proclaiming fake and fraud. The game is a Mexican tradition and is also called the Pencil Game and Charlie Pencil..
But new life has been breathed into the game on Youtube and other social media sites..
A video racking up some big hits on the popular site World Star Hip Hop shows off some people experimenting with their own version of CHARLIE CHARLIE.. The video includes some not so friendly language.. but it’s a holiday weekend, I assume you won’t be at work or school when you’re reading this..
So presented for your Sunday night amusement: A CHARLIE CHARLIE video filled with decisive answers and men with high pitched screams.. -

A little more of an in depth COBBLER review
I have a recommendation for fans of darker comedies, or maybe movies not int he mainstream of the entertainment world; THE COBBLER was one of the most creative, strange, and fun films I’ve ever seen..
The movie starred Adam Sandler and was originally released September 2014. The film explores the life and times of a cobbler in the modern city, someone trying to make it in a world of technological advancement.. But the film turns haywire fast with a magical gift that Sandler discovers: If he cobbles shoes on an old contraption, he is able to physically and literally walk in the pair of the person who owns them. He can become anyone he wants to become–and it is at this point that a dramatic turn in life takes place. He learns quickly about crime, murder, mystery, and heartbreak..
It’s not a laugh out loud movie, instead one that penetrates a bit deeper. I had moments of chuckles at best, but the quickly developing crime comedy that develops was enough to keep my interest.
In fairness, it is a PUNCH DRUNK LOVE type film .. Sandler seems to be in his element in this film, even though it was not a highly advertised bigger budget flick. It is a simple movie, and Sandler plays a simple man with perfection. He was convincing as a cobbler. Though the plot took paranormal turns at times, the cobbler seemed to end up being a very believable movie.
This movie was rented by accident at a REDBOX.. I didn’t really hear of the movie prior to this, nor was I aware even as to what it was about. Truth be told, when I saw the cover, I thought it said the ‘Gobbler’ and was going to be a film about Sandler eating too much—he did get a little top heavy as of late. I ended up being pleasantly surprised at the imaginative movie..
Not everyone may agree with me.
I took a glance at the reviews on a variety of places including IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. And boy are they bad.. Some people were downright cruel about their reaction to this film.. The movie got an icy reception—and just like many others that did, I liked it.I have learned to take reviews with a grain of salt. When I saw the 1 star that THE HOUSE OCTOBER BUILT is getting on NETFLIX, I figured it was going to be a waste of time. When I watched it, though, it ended up being just like the movie I wanted to see: Cheap thrills, scary clowns, and a horror haunted house feel.
Back to Sandler..
I would say this: IF you have a spare moment to see a film, and most other choices you really wanted are gone, try the COBBLER.
Just try it..
But don’t ruin a good pair of shoes hunting it down.

Cobbled
Even though reviews for Adam Sandler’ the COBBLER were horrendous, I tried it out .. I don’t regret it. I didn’t love it.. Hut didn’t hate it. It was I one of the more creative films I’ve ever seen.
Give it a try if you have some spare time. But there’s no need to rush to the Red Box and ruin your shoes in the process. -

A new day. An old day. A new day.
I had a very in depth discussion with a seer this week.. She explained a few things that, one could contrive are just happenstance and chance predictions, and others may say are true messages from beyond..
The odd part: A few things actually seemed to all combine together in a sensible few moments of clarity today..
I wrote down most of what I was told simply to go back in the future and see how right it all wrong.. But today, today alone, about a dozen or so things all happened before my eyes—-the words all made sense. It wasn’t a Sylvia Browne moment.. it wasn’t a MISS CLEO thing. It was a real and true chat about what matters, why it matters, how it matters, and how it makes sense.Life is compartments.. the brain is meant to close a few books now and then. The flesh is meant to break apart but the soul is made to move to the next class..
I will keep the words told to me private.. And besides, some would simply count it all as a hoax..
But I will simply say this, as explained, one chapter was closed today. Not with a bang but a whimper.
Suddenly it feels like a new one has begun with a train whistle and the sound of motorcycles, spring breezes, and laughter of a child.
Time to take in only the things that matter..
Only the things that matter.. -

Dumpster diving for Dave
It has been a wild week on CBS TV .. the exit of David Letterman, some would argue, means a lot. Others may say it’s simply an overdue act and that the third placed not king of late night should have left fifteen years ago when the Internet began rolling on with viral videos–without him..
What is clear today though is this: The set that David Letterman used and said goodbye on was quickly disposed of.. Some pieces, CBS says, were kept safe and transported to other places.. The George Washington bridge was carefully loaded into a truck. But most other pieces of the fake skyline of New York City that was behind him was simply thrown into a dumpster..
AND..
Fans reacted by dumpster diving for pieces of television history.[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sAWFbH41pQ]
Does the set throw-away say anything about a culture? A throwaway culture perhaps?
Think of this. For weeks during the run up to the final LATE SHOW, we were told television history was going to be made.. that this exit will be as memorable as Johnny Carson’s.. That David Letterman was saying goodbye and along with him an era of TV was going too… CBS had a special on to celebrate his LATE SHOW time—-a lackluster special if you ask me..
But the very day that Letterman exits, fans leaving the final show are seeing the stagehands bringing out pieces of the Ed Sullivan theater and throwing them into the garbage.
All to make way for Stephen Colbert—a person I still think CBS mistakingly put into a gig that he will not succeed at..Yes, I think there are some cultural messages here. Some elements of who ‘we’ are in a way.. something deep and profound exists in watching CBS trash the star they paid millions to, and then to the fans diving into wreckage to ensure they keep a piece of the millionaire’s fake set.
All of this means something.
I just can’t figure out yet what it is.. -

The most horrible scene
THIS NEWS MAKING ROUNDS ONLINE IS TROUBLING: Woman Found Pushing Dead 3-Year-Old Son in Swing// A woman was found pushing her dead 3-year-old son in a park swing Friday, and authorities say she may have been there for hours, or even since the day before. There were no obvious signs of foul play »
The AP dispatch continues with tragic details:
Sheriff’s deputies went to the park in La Plata, Maryland, about 7 a.m. after being called to check on the welfare of the woman and child, Richardson said. The officers went to remove the boy from the swing and give him first aid, but “it was instantaneously clear the child was dead,” she said. There were no signs of trauma to his body.
Deputies cut the chain on the swing’s seat and removed the body, which was taken to the Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore. A spokesman for the medical examiner said he couldn’t provide any information.
The situation seems harrowing.. troubling.. mentally exhausting and even depressing.
There is a deep hope that no crime was committed here.. but at the same time, the extent of the mother’s either mother illness or inability to comprehend reality is also in play.Innocent until proven guilty.. but I’d figure a thorough medical exam is taking place to ensure mental capacities are in check.
