    Nasa blurs the lines

NASA hosted a special press conference yesterday to unveil images and to answer questions around the mysterious interstellar 3I/Atlas object that’s caught the attention of the public and the imagination of some scientists that believe this may be an alien spacecraft.

NASA only shared very blurry or very pixelated images of the  object..

Keep in mind that we were told the budget issue and government closure was delaying images coming out. We had to rely on amateur astronomers or other countries..

We all waited holding our breath for the big giant reveal from NASA of the images that would absolutely showcase this being a comment. Instead the mystery now deepens because NASA gave us things that clearly are worse than what even amateur astronomers gave us.

Like Jordan Crowder said … Very embarrassing

    Did something make the jump?

Media is reporting what is being called a startling first..

A Washington state man has been infected with a strain of bird flu previously only detected in animals and never before in humans..

The “severely ill” man was hospitalized with a high fever, confusion and respiratory distress earlier this month and confirmed to have H5N5, a subtype of avian influenza carried by wild birds like ducks and geese.

It is being reported that he has health conditions and is older.

    This is developing

  • Global Cloudfare Storm

    Global Cloudfare Storm

Massive global outage and hacking fears..

Lots of sites and brands are down this morning.

What will Congress do without Grindr!!?

In the last few minutes Cloudflare has confirmed it is aware of a major issue affecting its Global Network, which is causing outages on platforms like X, ChatGPT.. and ironically, Downdetector.

    MORE..

According to the latest Cloudflare update

“During our attempts to remediate, we have disabled WARP access in London. Users in London trying to access the Internet via WARP will see a failure to connect.”

But what is WARP? Faster than light travel for starships?

Sadly not, Cloudflare’s WARP is seemingly a tool to secure internet connections by encrypting all traffic from a user’s device. It is mainly used as a privacy tool for consumers and corporate customers. Unlike a VPN, warp does not hide your IP address, it merely encrypts your traffic.

  • This is a great Fangoria Kickstarter

This is a great Fangoria Kickstarter

Fangoria magazine is one of the preeminent horror publications and has been for so many years. It’s been the official record of horror movies, television, and pop culture for decades..

So it was exciting to see that someone out there is running a Kickstarter campaign to preserve every issue, page by page, for posterity and historical purposes. That’s amazing.

And by the way, we get no profit from this and have no motive for posting it beyond genuine appreciation for the magazine itself and what it has contributed to this corner of the entertainment world over the years.

But it goes beyond Fangoria. We need to preserve more. Too many things get lost in the shuffle of online pop-culture representation, and we move so fast that the permanent record of what once was seems to vanish within seconds. Links go dead. Facts become blurry. Sources we once found are suddenly impossible to locate again.

That’s what makes this Kickstarter—and others like it—so important. It preserves something that mattered, and it keeps that meaning alive long beyond our own existence on this earthly plane. So good luck to everyone involved. It’s a great idea, and everyone should be thrilled with the result if it all works out.

Prayers for movies: Pope hosts Hollywood stars at Vatican and laments the fall of cinema

Pope Leo told a group of leading Hollywood actors and filmmakers at an audience in the Vatican on Saturday that cinemas were struggling to survive and that more should be done to protect them and preserve the shared experience of watching movies..

“Cinemas are experiencing a troubling decline, with many being removed from cities and neighbourhoods,” he said.

“More than a few people are saying that the art of cinema and the cinematic experience are in danger. I urge institutions not to give up, but to cooperate in affirming the social and cultural value of this activity.”

  • Looking forward to getting stuck in the backrooms in 2026

Looking forward to getting stuck in the backrooms in 2026

We’re really excited about the upcoming Backrooms movie, currently set for a 2026 release, even though we still don’t know too much about its development beyond the creative team involved.

20-year-old director Kane Parsons is helming one of the most anticipated analog-horror adaptations ever — has announced that work on the Director’s Cut is officially complete. That doesn’t mean the Final Cut is anywhere near done, but it’s another step toward that 2026 release window.

The Backrooms has always been something mundane and frightening at the same time, and that’s the magic of it. Honestly, I love the Backrooms so much that I’ve even fallen asleep to those endless looping YouTube videos of yellow hallways humming in the background. I know I’m not alone — a lot of us have had moments in life where a strange hallway or empty office building at night made us feel like we accidentally “noclipped” into level 0 ourselves.

If the movie captures that eerie mix of nostalgia, dread, and liminal weirdness, the concept alone is strong enough to make this a huge success. We’re hoping for a lot here.

In the meantime, I want to direct your attention to a TikTok creator named tater tot.

Whoever they are, they’ve been doing God’s work: creating Backrooms videos using AI, trapping all sorts of figures — especially Ronald Reagan — deep inside the maze. And quite frankly, a full movie of Ronald Reagan wandering the Backrooms, confused and doomed, would absolutely work for me.

    2026 can’t come fast enough.

  • Phantom of the Bubba

    Phantom of the Bubba

*** since this post is written many days ago more information has come out stating that it was just a humorous conversation and not an implication that anything occurred between Donald Trump and Bill clinton. You can read more about that in the advocate here. In the meantime for posterity here’s the original report that we wrote then ***

What a weird day in news and politics.. reporters have been apprehensive about sharing or reporting this but the internet has gone wild with Trump and Jeffrey Epstein and now Bill Clinton connections..

One of the emails released, from Epstein’s brother Mark Epstein, has gone viral. In it, Mark speculates if Putin has a photo of “Trump blowing Bubba.”

The mention of the President “blowing Bubba” has caused a storm on social media, as ‘Bubba’ is the nickname of former President Bill Clinton, who is also alleged to have been associated with Epstein.

But people have taken it and molded it into thr political shocker worthy of a Trump Season 2 plot shift..

Drudge was in his glory mockinga Trump and also Clinton–hardening back to what got Drudge famous to begin with in the late 90s..

Meanwhile Trump raised eyebrows along with the volume at the White House…

Politico correspondent Jake Taylor noted on Friday afternoon that music from “The Phantom of the Opera” was playing so loudly it could be heard outside the White House. The president is said to be a notorious fan of Broadway show tunes and enjoys playing DJ at events.

  • There were no expenses spared for $tranger Thing$ 5

There were no expenses spared for $tranger Thing$ 5

It won’t be long now until the big release of Stranger Things Season 5. We’ve all been waiting for this one — not just for the story to continue, but to finally see how it all comes to an end. But the big question floating around right now isn’t just what will happen in Hawkins… it’s how much did this season actually cost to make?

We’re being told Season 5 is going to be huge. The Duffer Brothers didn’t just go big — they swung for the fences. According to various trade publications, the production budget for Season 5 may have climbed past $626 million dollars. Let that sink in for a second. That’s a bigger budget than plenty of major films, and when you consider the length and scope of this season, it’s almost like we’re getting several movies stitched together into one long final chapter.

The Duffer Brothers really did create one of the biggest science-fiction/horror hits of our time. And now we’re seeing the marketing push reflect that: Doritos, American Express, brand tie-ins, billboards, commercials — it’s everywhere. One last blast of the Upside Down meets 1980s nostalgia, flooding our feeds and our store shelves.

But that price tag? If the numbers are accurate, this would make Season 5 one of the most expensive television seasons ever made — even surpassing the $365 million budget of Avengers: Endgame in 2019..

There is also a chance that the entire season of Stranger Things may STILL be shorter than Endgame–we kid Marvel. Rumor has it some people are still watching it in theaters since 2019 .. again we kid, we kid.

So what should we expect? Honestly, probably a lot. Big action. Big emotional moments. Big everything. And according to the insiders, the Duffers really did go all-in to finish this story the right way. They were ‘swinging for the fences’ in the final season..

But here’s the thing: let’s do ourselves a favor and avoid spoilers for at least a few weeks when it drops. We want to experience this in real time — not through leaks, comments, or breakdowns before we even get the chance to feel it.

We have our theories. We have our predictions. But we’d rather watch it unfold with our own eyes, the way it’s meant to be seen.

Just a few more weeks now. One last trip to Hawkins. One last time in the Upside Down.

  • A new image of 3I/Atlas raises eyebrows

A new image of 3I/Atlas raises eyebrows

The photo appears to show a plume of some kind of material on one side, along with emissions  off the opposite side.

Cue Harvard scientist, Avi Loeb.. he believes these images of the  mysterious interstellar object named 3I/ATLAS could be additional evidence of  a type of jet engine or propulsion system on board an alien spacecraft.  In recent weeks, the object has captivated scientists’ attentions and peoples’ imaginations on what exactly this thing moving through our solar system is.

And as new imagery has become available, Loeb continues to express concern that this object, which should near Earth in mid-December, may not be a comet but rather an alien spacecraft instead.

    MORE..

In his blog on Medium, with new imagery in hand, Loeb writes, “The image shows two anti-tail jets out to 10 arcminutes towards the Sun accompanied by a longer collimated jet, extending away from the Sun out to an angular separation of 30 arcminutes, roughly the diameter of the Sun or the Moon. At the current distance of 3I/ATLAS from Earth, 326 million kilometers, these angular extents correspond to spatial sizes of 0.95 million kilometers for the sunward anti-tail jets and 2.85 million kilometers for the tail jet away from the Sun. This enormous spatial scale is three orders of magnitude larger than the scale of the glowing halo around 3I/ATLAS in the Hubble Space Telescope image from July 21, 2025.”..
