Hot poles

Antarctica has experienced unfathomable temperatures in recent days. Temperatures have been as high as 50-90 degrees Fahrenheit above normal.

One of the most anomalous extreme temperature events ever observed in human history.

Meanwhile this week the North Pole was 50 degrees above normal.

Weather stations in Antarctica shattered records Friday as the region neared autumn. The two-mile high (3,234 meters) Concordia station was at 10 degrees (-12.2 degrees Celsius),which is about 70 degrees warmer than average, while the even higher Vostok station hit a shade above 0 degrees (-17.7 degrees Celsius), beating its all-time record by about 27 degrees (15 degrees Celsius), according to a tweet from extreme weather record tracker Maximiliano Herrera.

Yes that indeed was a disgusting scene in Brand New Cherry Flavor

Yes. It really is gross…

A lot of attention is suddenly being paid to the Netflix show. It began when a TikTok user told followers to watch the part in episode 4..

We did too.

We won’t forget it for all the wrong reasons..

Media attention has now been placed on the scene.. it even made a splash headline on the Drudge Report today..

Spoiler alert here in case you’ll want to view it yourself, but this is what happens:

In episode four the moment which “scarred people for life” sees Lisa invite her lover Roy over, but before he arrives she gets a wound on her stomach and another kitten pops out of it.

Undeterred by the kitten-producing gash across Lisa’s stomach, Roy sticks his whole hand right in there and they both get very turned on. So much so he throws her on the bed and have what then looks like fairly normal consensual sex, considering the foreplay.

Putin addresses his nation—and calls people opposed to him inside Russia ‘scum’ and traitors to be spit out

Putin appears to be digging in ..

The speech of Russian president Vladimir Putin was perhaps the best showcase of a war in Ukraine not going according to plan, and Putin backed in the corner as Russian oligarchs ponder their future finances.

There’s a number of possibilities as Putin desperately tries to rationalize the invasion of Ukraine, with one of the worst case scenarios still being on the table.

Pray that World War III doesn’t happen…

A brand new view of space ! This is beautiful

Not your grandparents telescope here folks ..

Today, NASA released the first image from the James Webb Space Telescope after sharpening its focus, as the agency plans to start peering at the earliest galaxies in the universe.

The image shows a brilliant, blazing orange star know as 2MASS J17554042+6551277… with multiple galaxies in the background.

How beautiful, profound, and breathtaking to consider this massive immense and ever expanding universe and our small little piece of insanity where we still fight caveman fights…

Major quake near Fukushima!

This is a developing situation..

A strong 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook off the coast near Fukushima, Japan, late Wednesday, prompting a tsunami alert.

The region is part of northern Japan that was devastated by a deadly 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami 11 years ago.

This is a developing story.. a

And while we may get ‘fact checked’ it’s interesting to point this out today too: “North Korea has fired an “unknown projectile” which appeared to fail immediately after launch, South Korea’s military said.”

DO YOU WANT THIS WAR? Ukraine President Zelensky addresses Congress; Uses both Pearl Harbor and 9/11 references to lobby for American intervention!

The drums are beating..

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy invoked the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Sept. 11 terror strikes on America on Wednesday as he pleaded with the U.S. Congress to get more aid for his country to fight against its invasion by Russia.

Zelensky asked the U.S. to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine to stem the Russian attacks.

“Is this a lot to ask for to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine to save people?” “Is this too much to ask?” he said in the speech, which was delivered remotely via video link from the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

He also used graphic imagery as the audience went wild with a standing ovation … Actually three standing ovations come to think of it..

His address featured the display of a graphic video that included tragic footage from the conflict in Ukraine, including disturbing photographs of civilian casualties of the war, destroyed buildings, and terrifying images of military attacks there.

He called on the US to “close the sky” to prevent the Russian airstrikes that are devastating Ukraine, which President Joe Biden and other Western leaders have so far refused to do to avoid a direct confrontation with Putin’s Russia.

What you think about this cat photo apparently tells the story of your personality?

Are you an optimist? Pessimist? Or surrealist? I guess the “Internets” will tell us from this cat photo..

We fell for it.. we got the click bait.. and we dove straight in.

It appears a new “dress” style debate has emerged online–all from an image that was either taken in 2015 or first appeared then.

This cat:

It’s walking up–or down–stairs..

According to The Minds Journal, the direction in which you see the cat walking says a lot about your personality.

If you think the cat is walking upstairs then supposedly you are optimistic, whereas if you see it walking downstairs then you’re more pessimistic…

And we have no idea why someone decided that was the case..

So what does that make us here at the HORROR REPORT?

The first thing we thought was that the cat was literally walking along a straight flat surface that just had a design that appeared as though they were steps… neither up, nor down.

So we are just plain old realistic… Or surrealistic..?
